We need more games on this site with down to earth, approachable devs, not fewer. Many of us will be deeply saddened to see you go. As numerous other posters stated above, driving you to ragequit is the hecklers' goal, and IMO you should disregard non-constructive criticism, thick skin is important when creating art. I'll go ahead and drop a (positive) review for you shortly, maybe offset some dipshittery.

This game has to be one of my favs. Great story on both harem and love routes. Next is Domi route mwahahaha *trying to do an evil laugh even though I'm far from evil* ;p I love how all three routes seem to have there own story line which is really cool.
Next may have already been mentioned and if so, sorry.
Just fyi on the harem route when MC wakes up with Winter and sniffs his fingers, he is sniffing wrong hand *should be right hand* though that is a very very very *1,000,000 more varies* small mishap compared to this great game. If I was dev*which is in no way possible that I could ever make a killer game like this lol* I wouldn't worry about it it's just me being a stupid perfectionist

I was doing a total replay of the harem path and experienced the same LFN6 error. From what you are saying, it is likely the mod by IAmAB, which is what I was using.

So, I'm a little late to the party, but I just started playing Alison last night. I'm really enjoying it so far. As a member, basically, I don't pay attention to the reviews (heck, I just learned where they were last week). I just go to the latest updates section and go through a bunch of games at one time. I look at the images of the game and the description. If it interests me, I download it. If it doesn't, I move on. I don't take other people's reviews into account what so ever. Basically, I can tell you, if your game/vn has decent looking images and the description makes sense (if I can't make head or tails out of the brief description, I sure as heck am probably not going to be able to make sense of the story while playing it) then I download it and try it. Simple as that. Don't let people's reviews bother you! Like the old saying... "Opinions are like assholes. Everybody has one. Some are just bigger than others!"

The overview seems promising as hell but i am abit worried about how the reviews seem to have some very negative ratings. Hey dont get me wrong 3.5 is by far not a bad rating.
Im just concerned with what it actually is that some people find bad with this game?
Personally i love to get involved with the story and characters so im not just after some "porn" so to speak. I hvnt tried playing this game since i just found it but i might put it on the top of my list (i like the veteran/cop types of stories) depending on what you guys tell me.
PS. I know i can check the reviews more into detail but i'm trying to avoid major spoilers and i have had some great games getting spoiled before so i dont want to risk it. I hope you guys understand.

Dont worry too much about the ones low ratings, most of us have found that the review posters liked content that was removed, that wasnt liked by most people anyway, but the reviewers didnt like that they didn't get what they wanted when both the Dev, and majority of people playing didnt like that content.
I actually ignore reviews on here, as its better to just try the ones you might like, and that 3.5 is more like a 4.5 stars in reality, a few of the reviewers dont even follow the site rules when reviewing, its better to just randomly pick a page of the thread and read some of the posts, more often than not you'll get a better idea of the game, Yes this doesnt always work but its better than some of the reviews, like the, I dont like this game - because I dont like it reviews.
They (The reviewers that break the rules here) are actually the main reason that the Dev for the game has given up on posting on here, the idiots have ruined it for the rest of us.
Story is a big thing in this game, the Dev is working on a rewrite for some parts of the game, he redid the start, which upset some people that dont like story, mc is a cop, but also a Vet, main thing is the military background, also he didnt seem to need the job, he has family money from all we have seen, thats as much as ill tell you, any more and it might spoil something.

Hey! First i want to thank you so much for giving me such a detailed response without giving away any spoilers.
As for the reviews i kinda understand what you mean, there was a game with 3 stars but the game itself was amazing (i cant recall the games name) and some negative reviews because of something similar to what you said in your post.
But in general it can help sometimes to read them but i have to agree with you, some can ruin it. I guess its just that i do it to rank my playlist since there are so many games to play and i also have different tastes at different times so it can sometimes help.
I have done a few reviews and truth be told i didnt actually read the rules to do it before. but looking at the rules now it seems that i shouldve looked at the amount of characters i wrote in them =/. Anyway thanks for pointing that out that means that i atleast wont make the same mistake again.
I get what you mean about the pages but i actually stay away from strolling around in the forum until i finished atleast one route of the game because when i was playing another game (not sure if i can name it here) i got such a huge spoiler which literally haunts me until this day.
Thank you for your time, truly appreciated! I will put this game on the top of the playlist after i finish the game im on currently.
I have been enjoying this game. It has a great story line. I can't wait for an update.

Adding to what Haast said about the reviews: apart form the ones bitching about removed content there are also some who think the game should have a lower overall rating and 'adjusted' theirs accordingly. They not only valued their opinion way higher than the rest, they also tried to impose it on the rest. Proper douche nozzles, the lot of them. And yeah, they sadly drove OMVN away.

I just played a little of the start of the game and going to continue now. The thing that i instantly reacted to was the new prologue vs the old prologue. I didnt get to play much though so im only at the shopping section in the prologue.
But i did notice the change made to Allison which is abit odd, she used to look exactly like Jess before i assume? But now they changed her to look abit different but still similar in some ways. Does this mean that all future scenes that hvnt been changed will be changed from the old Allison (jess copy) to the "new Allison"?
Personally i feel like the old Allison looks "hotter" but at the same time the new Allison seems to fit the character abit more than the old (looks wise).
If Jess comes back (dont tell me though xD) im 100% fine with that choice but if not i will be abit sad but purely because she looks pretty nice and really well rendered, still not a dealbreaker though.
Is that what all the fuss is about?
As for the removed content do you mind telling me what it is, but only if it wont result in major spoilers.
I am sorry for all these questions i am sure they have been answered before but so far this game looks amazing and what im looking for at the moment and i really dont want to have it spoiled so i dont want to go back and check incase =/. If you prefer or have a previous post that mentions this without much spoilers i would love to have a link to it.

Edit: okay so ive played for a few hours now and honest to god this game is fucking great. Like it draws u into the story, i am so happy i decided to ignore the negative shit that was in the reviews. I seriously feel so sorry for the Dev you dont deserve the hate.
I know you said your out from the 95 noke but i hope this gets to you. And for all people doubting tl try this game i hope you also see this and try it out for urselves.
Your work is amazing so far, i just had to stop playing for a minute to just point that out. I feel like im going to have a huge marathon to complete ghe game as i wont be able to stop anytime soon.
Keep doing what you are doing mate cause this is pure gold. Thanks for the game!

I played all 3 paths a bit the harem in my main all is that not the main story wait i read here... but thats the only story line thats a bit to follow the other 2 are just all over the place dont like it..
all so i dont know what the dev is doing but all 3 paths the chars look different really weird if its just 1 game it looks just now that you play 3 games in 1.

from what i have gathered till now the prologue part until the time player has to choose among 3 choices is being reworked...right? the whole game is not going to be remade.

Yea that quote was not there when i started to play the game so i never read the op twice only the yellow quotes if there any and the changelog..People like different routes, that's normal

I like this game a lot, it have it's faults but for me it is one of the better ones i played.
Some of this reviews for the game sound strangely forced. Like people just got in there to share hate or something. No valid reason anyone would give this game less then 3 stars based on share content and quality of visuals. Story at it self is good, not to real but again not to far fetched. I honestly think those 1 star people do it just from spite or something. No other explanation...

Some of you who follow me over discord may have already known that this was coming. For those of you who didn't know... I am aiming for steam! That means this update will be the last one for love-path (hopefully) I'll be starting work sometime this coming week.
I'll be working on completing the remaster and finally the ending for love.
Once I feel it is good and ready, it will be headed for steam. I know that some of you wanted that, so I hope you will support and review it there. This also means that this update may take longer than usual. If I feel that it is taking too long, I'll release what I have and continue working to complete it.
Once love is out of the way. We will finally focus on Harem and Dom that could use some serious TLC.
