I'm a bit stumped right now, been trying a lot of things but why does it look choppy when using full-screen? Window mode is okay but is it perhaps a graphics/display problem?

You really don't need to do anything, the OP even says that it only says 1.0000 because of the translation patch, and that it's already patched.

That's not why. The prepatched version is out of date because it's using a significantly older version of the translation patch (aka, not the Complete one that updates the interface so text fits and stuff). Furthermore, the torrent version in particular was patched incorrectly and Append 4 has no translated text at all as a result.

Aaaah, okay I understand then. That's my misunderstanding. At this point I'm not even sure if I patched it myself, I don't remember at least.

Does anyone understand how to get this to work. I've followed everything and its still failing me. I have Japanese Supplement Fonts I can see that in optional features in setting/apps/optional features. I've already swapped to regional format and then applied the patch for the updated, but it crashes on launch regardless. I notice that it shows the black diamond can't read text for the unicode.

When you changed your system locale, did you check the box "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support?" If so, make sure to uncheck that. Also note that system locale as a setting is distinctly different from the "country or region" setting.
Using an locale emulator, i seemed to be able to open the game, but some things are still untranslated.

Was the game itself updated with the translation patch, and if so that means I won't need to download the patch right?

Anyone know what is up with these errors? They pop up during the Yuiki introduction cutscenes and one or two other places so far (only on Chapter 3 atm). I can hit ignore and continue onward but what I assume is either a sprite or a CG is missing during these scenes. I downloaded one of the direct download links in the OP and the copy-pasted the complete translation patch on top. Everything else has been running great so far.
Also, side question, how do you take damage from mud on the Hanging Cloud Bridge map?

I'm not quite sure about the error but for the mud part, just step on the bubbly yellow trap and you're good to go for the map mission.

Mud is the trap. Of course. I'm so dumb. Spent like 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get damaged by the lava at the top of the stage thinking it was a mistranslation.

Just noticed that there's a live 2d option on the settings but is it a live 2d thing on the CG H-Scenes or is it on the battle animations? If it's on the H-scenes, I might've done something wrong.
