I was skeptical at first, but I have to admit I was wrong, well drawn, especially Maddie... Maddie one love ♡ ♡ ♡

But I wanted to ask you something. Maybe you already answered it, but I couldn't find it or didn't spot it.

Will we have to start the relationships from the beginning or pick up where they left off?
Just to be honest, I really don't want to start it all over again, wait for a few updates to have something...
I don't think I'm the only one who feels the same way.

I understand your apprehension about having to build it all back over again, but the sad fact of the matter is: Amity Park is 99% most likely dead at this point. And the game we’re making, Dark Dimensions? It’s not a sequel. The Danny you will play as will have already experienced a great deal of trial and tribulation as a ghost hero, and will not be the same Danny/same world you played as/in in “Amity Park”.

But we’ll be taking what people loved about the game, story, characterization, and bringing it over to this one! Some things may be different, remixed, some time has passed for our Danny since he got his powers, so I know, I KNOW… it might feel like you’re starting at square one with everybody, but really, it’s just a brand new adventure to enjoy!

(For further explanation, we’ve more or less narrowed down that for our game’s timeline, the events of seasons 1-2 are canon and have occurred, so that should give you a clue as to who has popped into the story and who maybe has yet to be introduced.)

Given that part 1 crashed into a wall before the story was finished, that wouldn't be feasible. As for starting with pre-existing relations between some of the female characters, that would kind of work against the nature of the game in my opinion.

One of the things I liked most about AM was that I could choose which relationships I wanted to pursue, I actually quite liked the one you could have with Desiree by breaking down her walls and getting her to actually care about Danny rather than have a simple master/servant relationship. Having that relationship exist, without being able to decide on it and follow the story, dilutes it to pointlessness.

I'd rather than Danny be single and have his relationships incur character growth, that would be more fun both gameplay wise and in story enjoyment.

They're still working on initial character designs, let alone stuff like full expression sets, UI, CGs, or backgrounds.
