I can understand to a extent, why some would be upset as it sometimes feels like "NTR" is just a "Fanfiction" (an addition that is ignored by the main game world, story) and if you removed "NTR" it would have no impact to the game at all, it can be done well (impact to the game) and poor (no impact to the game)

Just my personal view on it.

I don't think it's mixed messages at all, GENERALLY, ntr in the game is in one-off scenes. One main character will have a dedicated full path, and it plays heavily into the endgame conflict.

I'm explicitly saying there will be a fair amount of content related to it but that this isn't a dedicated NTR game. i think you might just be misunderstanding what one-off scenes means. the phrase is synonymous with "standalone" so NTR scene for most characters are generally going to be standalone scenes, as opposed to a subplot.

EDIT: I did forget that Shelby and Wes exist. They have an interesting relationship I want to get to but is currently low priority over the stag/vixen and other main content routes. Cuckqueen and hotwife vibes.

I think there are people who will see your response and just equate it to not being focused on their main driving fetish. Which is fair, in so far if your fetish is both specific but loose enough. Like I don't dislike futa, but I dislike futa x male, but am okay with futa x female.

In this case I like the game and the setup, and enjoy when characters have one off's like you describe, as it builds more to who and what they are as their character develops. Thought the Billie NTR was pretty hot, because at the end of the day at this point in the game you have shown an interest, and she reciprocates it. However, she has needs, and if you turn her down or as you said you have to " rube goldberged " to get it to happen. If she was just wanton throwing herself around and abusing her power to get laid, I probably wouldn't like her character as much. But in this case I like her vanilla route with the MC, and her side stuff is just extra spice.

I'm not finding a way to recreate this on my local, it might be save compatibility related or hardware dependant. Would you mind shootin me your save file so I can try to recreate?

I see the problem and an all or nothing approach is bad, if it was not intended at first.
My point was that it seems that "NTR" will be a 'no impact to the game' type (mainly to be ignored, part from one main character to be added) which is a bit ropy.

So first of all, you are missing that the entire endgame conflict is themed around NTR, specifically a race to save the town from an external threat, so my bare minimum planned amount is a bit more than that. However, there's definitely a contingent of people who ALWAYS WANT all ntr to be a either removed completely or completely excised Via button-press. I really have no interest in making two games so appease people who don't like one fetish or another; if anything this game is largely themed around the exploration of tastes.

So what i have been trying to do with EVERY fetish so far; gay, straight, futa, ntr, dom, sub, embarrassment, centaur and voyeurism, has been to make every single one of them something you CHOOSE to engage with. I think the only scene that isn't optional right now is the first Green face-sitting scene. Which now that i'm typing it that's going on my list to fix (i'll just give Allen the option to safeword out once she finishes the exposition). So in regard to NTR, those scenes have the same effect that every sex scene in this game has: character building, fap material, and context. At the end of the day this is a non-linier porngame with and an intended overstory endpoint, everything along the way IS the whole game and story, i don't hold any of it special or different to another scene.

Oh trust me I know, but the conversations actually do a lot to help me in a lot of ways. It allows me little soapboxes where i can explain my own thought processes, it forces me to often conceptualize and explain concepts that might have previously only been in my head, it gets me inspired to work on the game, more then one conversation in this thread has directly inspired some good writing.

also thanks for the feedback, and yea being a bi guy myself a BIG part of the start of this project was just my own general frustration that games so often heavily specialize into ONE thing. (This game IS a Futa-on-male game, this game IS an NTR game, this game IS a straight game, This game IS gay) i get it, but i really wanted to make something relaxed, character-driven, that played with a lot of themes and engaged each of them in more than one way.

Also I was just writing some Rain earlier and fuck did I forget how fun she is to write.Even her cameo in the bell quest with Green was gold to me lol. fucking grabbing her GO bag. "Daddy warned me about this!". she definitely spiraled beautifully away from the onenote "big titty idiot" she was meant to parody.

I have to ask im sure im not the only one it happens to whenever i play games in this format (rpgmaker) or whatever you want to call it, the game always locks up and you can still hear the sound of the game (like the menu) is there a fix or maybe a way to refresh so you dont have to constantly re open the game.

Rain second quest is broken. I didn't have the Snake Oil to give her after spending 140 gems and couldn't access the option after I got it so I can\t do anything beyond the first three options no matter how much I spend now

Good timing I was just wrapping up the next update and doing tests. Can you shoot me your save so I can see what's gone wrong?

EDIT: NVM i found it, the new day trigger was turning off the quest active. which means if you slept before finishing it you'd get locked out. 2.3 is coming out tonight (barring issues) and simply loading your save in the new version will auto-fix this issue.
