I feel like I'm stupid, so I downloaded the game and the patch, but how do I know if the patch is applied or not?

OK. So, i've finished like 100% everything about this game. All side quest, all legendary monster, all treasures, everything. Pretty sure the only reason this game is a H game is because you can't sell this game as a normal JRPG. As a JRPG, it lacks many thing aside from its decent story. This story have many things you may expect from some JRPG like Tales Of, Legend of Heroes or Growlanser.
However, as a H game, the H content in this game is so bad and lacking that you don't even feel like fapping most of the time. It actually feel more like the worse of both. If we're talking about a H game with JRPG story, integrate better H content into story and still pretty good story, i'd recommend Pray Game. That game is a pretty masterpiece.
Below, i'll give a summary of the story because well, it's the best part of this game. I may save people like hours of grinding on this game.

The problem with this game is that we all just want a simple story with more focus on sex combat and corruption. A game with the same premise as "Lewd Hero" but add in gender bending, lewd crest leveling, dick growth after certain conditions are met, breast enlargement curse, sensitivity curse, all different kind of curses and combat tentacle rape and it would be all good. Now it plays like a normal RPG but with the extra choice to choose sex options that are completely separate from the main game.

I mean, I personally enjoy virgin runs with corruption and lots of H content that just excludes losing virginity. Games that allow for this exact playstyle are my favorites. This is not one of them. This is barely an H game at all, honestly, the game and the hentai part are not connected at all, it's like playing, I don't know, Far Cry and watching porn on your phone and thinking that would magically make Far Cry a porn game.
Ugh, that killed most of my interest in continuing. Being a fan of TSF continues to be suffering.

Like me. I enjoy a good story and decent takes on combat. The plot for this game is fine, I felt. But if anything it could use more impact from becoming lewd or sexually active (or both). On the flipside, I felt like the main character's sex scenes could have used more... something, like the ability to spend more time with the princess? And the pregnancy mechanic is such a letdown, it's almost like it's not even there. I enjoy a lot of ideas presented in the H department, but the story here is ultimately fine, and I'm good with games with a decent story.

maybe but look at what games got the highest scores. It's Agnietta, After mini, Celesphonia, Ambrosia.
This. NTR is not required in every single game despite being popular with certain crowd, the same can be said about corruption.

But overall, yeah solid story that could've stemmed from not being rushed so much towards the end. Was super sad that the Hscenes weren't integrated that well (or at all) and becomes almost non-existent outside of GOR past the midpoint.
