these casino mini games are so painful. If they are going to make them semi skill based I wish it was either easier or the payouts were much higher.

Agree. It's tedious as hell. Never liked gambling in RPGs. For some it's a neat little distraction. For completionists like myself it's just a hurdle, where you have to rely on luck and RNGesus, who just hates me for some reason.
Anyway; there's a remedy: You can set it to "Auto", where the mini game plays itself. (Nearly) no input required whatsoever. Otherwise just wait 'till a later chapter. You'll get to the 2nd Casino (Wildflower City in the Desert), where you can enter the Arena. In the "Advanced Solo" Battles the last enemy drops "Casino Coin Chests", which will net you 1500 - 2000 Casino Coins each. The battle is infinitely repeatable - Oh, and as a bonus, the other enemies up 'till the last battle all drop stat increasing items

Does anybody know what the "Rope ladder" you get in the jungle-like dungeon after the emergency landing is used for?
Go toward the end of that dungeon, there'll be a circle right before the end for you to use the ladder. Basically another legendary monster.
Really? So i've inadvertently used it without noticing, bc I already beat all legendary monsters. Was confused bc it's still in your inventory.

is there any natural way to get the harlot outfit and waitress outfit? Is using the code the only way or is there an actual intended way to get them?
Waitress outfit: Accept the job offer (list icon) @ the "pool side" (rightmost corner) of casino town for the girls.
Harlot outfit: Not sure, but I think you get it by prostituting yourself by registering in the brothel(s). Requirements are:
1. Not being a virgin (anymore) and
2. At least @ chapter 5 story-wise...

Just go the backrooms where you use your battle exp to buy stat increasing items and give to the green guy on the left counter.

Haven't finished yet but I'm enjoying the game quite a bit as just a normal jrpg. I do feel it's leaning pretty heavily into adaption bait territory though. It's very clear that the writer/studio is looking to become the next studio Key. They want their game(s) to turn into anime and have all ages versions released on modern consoles. That's why all of the sex scenes feel like extra content, because it literally is. The game was developed as an all ages typical anime plot and then they knew for the inital fanbase they needed to try to lure the coomers in.

Go to the second map of the highway (the first is actually still in the gate) and take the left exit.
To win: Choose the same as the prediction. This gives you a higher chance of getting a draw or win.
To lose: Choose the loser against the prediction. Alternatively, just keep spamming rock. If you win, just press F5 and try again.

...You must've skipped almost every mobs then. Random mobs dropped material for weapon crafting.
Are you playing on normal? I believe the game mentions that you don't get random material drops on normal. I played on normal and never did get much wood, but got enough materials for all the good weapons from chests and I think I got some from the arena fights.
