Spoiler alert. Just finished 1.4. Loved it. Visually, it maintains already sky high standards and Anna is beautiful as ever (occasionally a bit more slender than usual, check John scene). However, this update is more plot oriented than it's forerunners that occasionally just amassed sex scenes. Nothing against plethora of sex scenes, perish the thought , but plot is good too, and helpful in building up the excitement.
Ashley is turning into a sympathetic character, no longer blackmailing rapist, now more a fuck buddy of Anna, liberating her sexually and financially.
Glad that pretty sex shop worker got some screen time, I got my eyes on her for sometime now.
Bar: possibly edgy scene (looked dangerously like "Accused" the Jodie Foster film) was skilfully defused. Even bar patrons looking like goblins from Little Noddy showed appreciation for Anna (one was threatening Anna with spanking two updates ago; thought that abrasive reaction from Anna would triggered the scene, but no, he was even moderately nice during the laptop scene). On top of that Patrick stood for our girl and scolded his brat, though I foresee future problems for Anna with the little creep. Return of Paul coffee shop owner is a porn cliche - heroin's humiliation witnessed by a former acquaintance. There is also promise of scenes with Paul and taxman.
John was affair waiting to happen from the start and finally it did. Good scene, best in the update. "Daddy"? It's also a porn cliche, no big deal. What strikes me as odd is lack of both physical and psychological smilarities between John and Andrew. Possibly John's wife/Andrew's mother had an accident which caused head trauma, like the one Anna is suffering from (in this update it is no longer used as motivation, but no matter) resulting in some nerd siring Andrew during casual sex (lol). Flashback of that sort, Andrew finding out he is some geek's bastard? Worth a consideration.
Not much in the office, Liam creepy as always, prospect of more of BDSM stuff or another intervention from Sergey (my man), or both.
Becca: why so little of her? Revelations of her awareness regarding Anna/Carl encounter were both kinky and dramatic, but one naked render of her is way too few. I think I speak for the most of us when I say that she is sexy as hell, very close to still unsurpassed Anna, and we would like to see lot more of Becca. DeepSleep declared his admiration for Becca anatomy few posts back, but so far keeps showing us Alfred's ding a ling instead.
Murder Jeremy or stay one's hand? Answer is simple, let us play both versions like true fans of the game and see how it turns out.
Noir motel scene: quite good, full of tension, even the tv set is from fifties. Why Anna resort to a blowjob is beyond me: Michael in the bathroom could not jeopardize the deal; anyway she could easily accomplish the mission with just a hand job if push came to shove. Of course Andrew bursting in won't change much, Anna will claim rape attempt, and Michael will oblige her by killing the customer. Our trio will then keep both drugs and money, blaming similar attempt on the victim, the bald buyer. Although, they would leave too many forensic evidence behind (Anna's saliva on victim's dick for instance). It would be advisable to torch the place and ice the rat faced motel attendant (again, murder, but that is drug bussiness for you).
All in all the update was delightfull, well worth the wait. Keep them (and us, pun intended) coming, Deep.
