Yes a game that has received pretty much monthly updates since it appeared on this site in May 17 (it's on 0.7 in 8 months) is just like Lily of the Valley that gets an update every 4 to 5 months or so.This is now like lily of the Valley. I don't agree with the statement that the last update was bad (it's more awesome), but 40 days ago, I read that the game will be in January, then at the end of month and right now is the announcmen for mid-February. It's just a little irritating. Deepsleep isn't rookie so it would be more appropriate to be more precise (becouse of supporters).

It's more about practicality than whining. Giving her an optional pregnant state doubles the amount of renders needed per scene.
Projected deadlines are just a guesstimate of when things should occur assuming nothing unforeseen happens, and this is true even on commercial/professional run projects. The obvious reason for this is because real-life isn't as predictable or controllable as we may like it to be, nor do we always know exactly how long something will take to do.
