Main reason I liked choosing the taxman is because if you choose the detective, you are basically going after your family, if you choose Carl, then your bringing your family directly into the cross sight of the detective when you have other options, I agree with you. I like choosing, and before this update, I played my way and had no problems. In my route Jeremy is dead, and I was perfectly able to go through all scenarios with no problem, until this update broke the game. I'll wait until either it's fixed or I'm out. I won't play to someone else's choices and disregard my own just to continue, and if that's the only option then he may as well go back and take out all options from game 1 and this one.
if Jeremy is dead in your route Anna Family that works with Sergey is already in the cross side of the detective and Anna is complicit in the Jeremy murder ... no no....
she is the instigator of that murder. In your route Anna is in the way to became the Boss of the Family.

(this coice is very same as help the detective... maybe even worse because the choices will no longer be in Anna's hands (if she helps the detective directly she will be on command)

Honestly I was tempted to select: help the detective... just for make Anna more powerful for herself... but Taxman?? I will never ask help from him! I hate paying duties and taxes... it is never good to be in debt with a man called TAXMAN.
I have already played all routes in the 0.4... (I still have version 0.4 in my computer)
So for now my route is: wash my dirty linen with my family and Anna chose not to kill Jeremy in the first chapter... (I'm against violence and Anna is not a killer... she want make maney using all the powerful body she has
she has nothing to fear from the police in my route
Here is a save just before the pornoshoot scene... maybe you have to go shopping with Emily before...
I think in a story with different choices you must save BEFORE THE CHOICE.
And you can always back to your route when the bugfix will be here.
In the CH1 I played all the routes including Killing Jeremy but after a while I decided to save him!
Specially when I realize that he is the one that can add corruption points in this second chapter..
PS: when Anna is working in the office.. she have to put a vibrator in her vagina... only if Jeremy is alive ... so corrupt her is easy and you do not have to cheat on the console!!!
