Strange, for whatever reason you were missing the dream scene which should automatically trigger at night. I'm not sure what was causing it not to trigger, but I'll try to figure out what might have gummed up the gears.

Oh, I tried just sleeping last night and got the scene. Maybe I'd just never slept with the sign equipped. (I'd been doing most of the sign with time turned off with the ring thing from the toolbox)

I go into it further in the post but this update is a bit short due to various issues, including my AC being broken during the massive recent heat wave. I actually have more written that needs a little more time in the oven, that'll be coming soon! There's a to-do list for me in the post, such as dark vault stuff and all the mission things I'm working on.
Anomaly Vault is approaching a good state to consider it finished, but before then I still feel I need to explore the mission concept I started with the intro mission. Thus I'm working on a mission where you head into a vault that's had a containment breach to obtain a high-value artifact. Hopefully it'll feel satisfying to play!

And then, after that I'll focus on another mission which'll lead to the game's good ending where you conquer the vault. Until then I appreciate all feedback! If you have any notes or find something that's broken please let me know! The game's engine is the oldest among the games I'm currently working on and working with it can feel like untangling spaghetti, so I'm sure something's broken somewhere.

the first is the bottle (or the fluid within) the second is the bracelet and the last one is the charm i guess?

Just came across this game and I noticed the 'gay' tag. Does that mean I can play as a gay character and only go for other guys? or is it more of a bisexual thing where I have to experience content with females but can also fuck guys?

IIRC, there's one m/m scene, the rest is m/f or f/f.

Using the perfume with one of the gender swapping artifacts on the player def needs to be a thing. Even if just a bad end.

I don't remember if I mentioned this before, but IMO the weakest part of the game is the characters, with the focus being on the artifacts rather than the characters like some of the other games, they have less defined arcs. There have been a few common threads between various girl's scenes but they've not really gone anywhere. Things like Veronica having a crush on our guy, Asa and Sofia getting off on watching us fuck the other, Katya turning into an online exhibitionist, and Mia in the Library seemed to be developing a fetish for us using the artifacts on her, are there any plans to go anywhere with those?
On a technical level, it would be a lot better if after watching a scene in the gallery, we went back to the category we were in rather than the main list.

Most of the game's content is M/F like chris2018 said, but the new artifact is focused on F/F and some artifacts have a sole male focus. Not very much hard m/m stuff though, sorry.

Yeah, a bunch of the scenes were written at a local library to escape the heat as my AC is broken, so I couldn't check the images I had while writing.

I thought about that but it'd make sense that Jensen would know at least a little about the artifacts the player is working with. Plus I already had a few scenes of madame x unaware girl.

I think it's that they have to be unaware of her existence, otherwise they'd know the stray thoughts being whispered into their heads were from someone else, making them less effective.

No it's just because the guy in the dream was jealous of how smitten his wife was with the madame compared to him. She sees women as things to be enjoyed like art or a lovely food.

That's a good idea. Already-erotic items are banned from the erotibox though I think, but massage oil is probably a grey area in that regard. I wonder what it would result in?

In retrospect I wish I'd fleshed out what the madame might be whispering into her partner's ears, the fantasies she might be spinning. Her first draft actually did say gay, but I changed it to bi because 1: The player might have more scenes to do with the gym attendant, and 2: I'm actually not a fan of total conversion.

Afraid not, the part of my collection I found that in is unsourced.

To be fair the vault is quite drab. I entertained the idea of the perfume's ending being trading you amazing power for your position, and this resulting in you becoming the jinn while she assumes your life.

Combining that with stwepudasso a neat idea would be to have variant dark vault scenes for some artifacts with the perfume equipped. I'll see what sparks my imagination, although I haven't done cross-artifact scenes before. Not sure how I'll count those in the scenecount.

Most of the dark vault, as well as some artifacts that rely on the player's gender such as the alternate reality mirror's reversed dynamics world, all the FREE ___ sign scenes, the perfume, and probably the midas coin would need their scenes rewritten.
The most daunting part though would be finding and preparing replacements for the images depicting a male protagonist, there are something like over 350. I think at that point it'd be a whole new game with the same engine and some recycled content. It's an interesting idea but I'd have to choose between working on this Anomaly Vault-F and human alteration app / hentai university / rainy dayz, and those are what I'd prefer to write.

I completely agree, I mentioned on discord how I wish at least in part I'd gone for more of a character focus. As it stands it feels like every character is a mannikin to use artifacts on. But with so many artifacts and total freedom it's hard to work out any kind of arc. Nobody can grow cause every scene has to make sense in any order. Plus it makes scenewriting harder since I can't really follow a trail of natural progression. It's a little sad that I'll often see people bring up how they really liked Tia or Emily from university because of their personality and growth, but nobody'll feel the same way about Sophia for example.

However, I still enjoy how AV has turned out. It just ended up more focused on the artifacts. I don't think I'd really be able to do things differently if I started over, since the wide variety of artifacts and freedom the player has means any change n the status quo needs to be accounted for in all following scenes, or any change in the status quo means the game has to stop. Had I gone for a character focus I think I'd have fewer artifacts, maybe even just the bracelet like how university focuses on hypnosis and HAA focuses on the app.

I swear I've meant to do this every update, it just keeps escaping me.

One of my favourites right now, I just love the concept and the creativity but into it!

One possibility would be to have Veronica give the player a report upon returning to his world. I'd expect a debriefing after the trip where he would report on what happened in the other world, and she would report to him about what happened with his double, the scene just cuts off before that point. Either of those could be interesting really, I bet telling Veronica about some of the things that he sees would be fun. After this latest one, he could make her give him a blowjob as a control to compare with his experience in the other world. :p

I think you could do something about that; like I said, it seems like each girl has something consistent with her scenes, it just doesn't go anywhere. The order of the scenes doesn't really matter, but you could add a capstone event after doing, say, three scenes (in any order) that advance the girl's particular fetish, that would cement it as a part of her. I don't think it would require all that much to account for in any future scenes, they could play out the same way just with a couple of lines at the beginning or end to reflect that the fetish is no longer latent.
