So this is unusual for me, but I have an unusual idea and would like to hear some feedback.

As we've built this game, there has been a constant push back and forth between making Steph more wild or less wild. We've added choices where you can tell her to keep it in her pants or anything goes. My goal is to give every player the experience they want, and we can make the story work in a variety of ways.

There are scenes that need to be reworked where Steph is too wild and unpredictable. For example, the glass of water bit that comes up over and over. The game is designed to make you feel less and less secure about your relationship with Steph up to her reveal to build some tension. However, the glass of water bit goes too far. At the same time, I know there are players who find that bit and others like it fun and thrilling.

So here's what I'm thinking.

It would be really easy for me to put an option at the start of the game where you get to pick how you want your wife to behave. It would be a wild wife/ a subdued (responsive) wife simple either/or choice. And that choice basically defines the whole game world for you.

With wild, all the same content would be there and some of the stops and checks would come out.

With subdued, things like the glass of water bit would come out and the Friday night options would change from five to three (No Donny having his way with your wife, No Steph being mean to you and Gina). It would also change the foursome so everyone stays in the room. From there, she'd be more responsive and less unpredictable. Amber and Paul would still be there, though I'd change up the Paul scene a little too. The story would be the same in both worlds with all the same events.

As it is, there are choices where she is more wild or more subdued, but I don't feel that is working for some folks who want to play through multiple times. This would ensure that no matter what choices you make or how many times you play through, Steph is going to act within parameters that you set in the opening scene. Both versions will go the full length of the game, and they would have an equal number of scenes though one might have more to pick from.

I know I'm a bit weird in how I handle game development. Most people would do this sort of thing behind a paywall or in an echo chamber, but I want to see how my game survives in the "wild." So I want actual paying customers helping me with these choices, and I'm big enough to make my mistakes in public and take my licks for it. So I really do want to know what our players think. And I know how many people read these things, so lets see hundreds of votes this time.

Doesn't sound like that from what he is writing, it just sounds like the content would stay the same for the most part. Just be easier to get the type of scenes you want with less reliance on numbers.

Well if he chooses to stop the open marriage then u could put in a cheating route to where guys r tempting Steph with group sex and then she cheat and Gina fines out and either blackmails her or tells MC because Gina wants the MC for herself. But you are right scenes should not be hidden or hard to get too I played the game several times and still stuck on how to have sex with amber in the club so I'm able to get the Paul scene

I played the game several times and still stuck on how to have sex with amber in the club so I'm able to get the Paul scene

#1 - have to have 2 confidence when talking to amber in convenience store.
#2 - in club, have to meet her first before any other actions like talking to bar or dj.
#3 - dont touch her, let her do her thing, then say something like "well I'm ready to try" or whatever it is

The real problem of the game comes from its badly written story, and the creator in trying to fix everything has made it even worse, the final part of the update is a mockery for the story and for the players, the Dev has invented something that clashes with the story, he only dealt with Sthep's selfishness making her a selfish sex addict, just to think that she finds such a devious story to be allowed to fuck whoever she wants, she had to create all this comedy with Tori and Jason, also lying about the plan, the right thing in the next update would be the option MC leaves Sthep for Gina, and for MC to take revenge by telling Stthep's sister the whole story, we want Stthep humiliated and put out of the house.

You said it: Steph was basically a prostitute being whored out to randoms all around town, she did not care who her ex brought along, she would be the whore in there ... seems Doni remembered her and kept hustling her for it again and again, now she is back to being not a prostitute but a free use whore with literally nothing to show for:

She's standing on the stairs to the upstairs area on the left, and she's only there for the first two "actions", if you chat with the girls on the dance floor or go to bar etc, that consumes an action, so talk to Amber first.

It's a shame dev made it such a difficult route, because IMHO the Paul event is what the rest of this game SHOULD HAVE BEEN. He's a nice enough guy, respectful, Steph enjoys hooking up with him and you get Gina at the same time, and there's no ulterior motives or ntr shenanigans during the event.

I like the idea, but the way he words it just makes me angry.

It makes me angry because it's the usual NTR fan conflation of "wild sex" = NTR themes. I don't want Steph to tone down the "wild wife" aspect during sex, I want her to tone down the "send husband away so I can fuck Donny in private" aspect, or the "lie to husband then start doing things with Jason while he's upstairs" aspect. As if a "subdued wife" (to use his words) somehow equals a respectful partner. Don't tone down the physical, tone down the emotional.

The problem has never been that Steph was "unpredictable", it was that she was "predictable to do the wrong thing". It's just more pro-NTR claptrap about "tension" and "uncertainty" when anyone with half a brain outside the ntr lover sphere can see there's nothing uncertain, it's certain it'll be a "Bad end".

Yes, this touched a nerve, because as experienced as I am defending swinging/sharing games from the harem crowd haters, a close second is the ntr purists who speak in the exact same kind of language that dev post was written in.

No event is perfect when you apply so many prickly standards. If you pay attention at the end Steph is making out with him and touching his cock while the MC's back is turned talking to Gina when she is just supposed to be saying goodbye. At least as bad as a glass of water if you ask me.

Yep, and I'm pretty sure there will be a scene where the MC returns from the bar is you take the "you're in trouble" option.

I mentioned in my response to the above dev's post that it isn't Steph going wild that is the problem, its how she goes wild and mentioned the glass of water example. Its not that Steph wants to go wild or wanted one on one time with Donnie, its the deceit and disrespect she showed before and after that is the problem.

Time will tell if the dev tries to tweak this mess into something, but the entire entry into the story paints Stef in a negative light to many people, and her selfish "me first" attitude is also off-putting to many people. Add in the entire "reveal" where she explains and justifies things but never really apologizes for "losing control", simply says that she does one or more times.

I will support and add. Steph, during the conversation, does not regret anything, does not repent of anything, she denies that she did the same to MC as Chuck did to her. Steph is so caught up in her ego that she keeps demanding the MC's consent during the conversation. She only requires “YES” from him. Steph demands that MC be happy with everything she has done. She doesn't want to stop. Even now she doesn't care about the MC, she wants her $50 for the dick.
The entire dialogue is a lie from a hypocritical whore.

I'd expect the closing the relationships to end there, maybe we might get an epilogue? I suspect the story continues from keeping it open as the updates have mentioned and shown hints of scenes to come later.

I'm wondering how they are going to progress from there myself. I'm inclined to take the close the relationship option for this couple because they are not ready to share, not because I don't want them sharing at all.
