Quote from the author: Originally, we had the approach that you needed to "manage" that relationship. Now, I feel like you are "cultivating" that relationship. How does the author imagine cultivating relationships if the MC has no choice. That you can “cultivate” only with “MC agrees”, “MC likes” and “MC forgives” and there are no other options. A very one-sided set.

We will find out with the update and see what the new choices are. WHile I'm looking forward to now content it's a bit frustrating to keep restarting all my saves again.

I have a question.
Making a “confession” Steph repeats that she did not want/plan/dream about an open marriage. On Friday at home, before MC told her about Jason's proposal, she actively fantasized about group sex. In marriage, group sex is possible only in two options - infidelity or open marriage. You can't dream of one without the other, like Chuck without a gangbang. What was she dreaming about in the bedroom? This episode refutes all of Steph’s claims that before talking to MC she “didn’t want to” and only MC convinced her.
Does this episode come up during Steph's "confession"? I did not see.

I guess she's like my ex. She initially wanted the right for mmf threesomes without giving MC the same courtesy.

Just because someone has a fantasy of multiple partners doesn't mean they want to make it a reality. Steph says she enjoyed group sex with Chuck so its understandable she would have fantasies about the MC in similar situations, without the cash exchange :D of course.

Not a fact... not a fact...
Steph could take money when she fucked Donny, without MC, after the bar. She put so much effort into this.

Maybe so, but there is a nuance. Steph knows that MC is home, but makes loud noises that MC hears on the first floor. Dialogue between MC and Steph during the “confession”: e “But this was a big one that had to do with our sex life.” s "So do masterbation and porn." s "Do you want to have a conversation with me about the types of porn you enjoy, when you watch it and all of your masterbation habbits?" s "I can go get my dildo if you want, and we can both lay all our cards on the table right now." s "Better yet, why don't I bring my feminine hygiene products . . ." In this dialogue, Steph makes it clear that this “process” is a very personal matter, which she will not share. And suddenly, she begins the “process” where the MC is actually standing outside the door and can come in at any moment. She makes sounds that ATTRACT the MC’s attention, and when the MC enters the bedroom, she also comments on all the actions out loud. Steph talks about multiple partners. It looks a lot like a thick HINT.
Steph knew about Jason's proposal and decided to push MC towards the “right” decision.

I differentiate an "open marriage" or an "open relationship" from a couple occassionally swinging, maybe I'm the only one. Open relationship has a connotation of neither partner having a responsibility to the other to neccesarily inform them of what they're doing on the side.

But either way, she's still a piece of shit because she kept all this from him when it was extremely important to her. And no - it wouldnt require her making it a reality, but if it's simply a common fantasy, I'd expect it to be shared at some point.

I would feel guilty if I were married to someone for a few years, and I harbored some singular fantasy which I spent all my "Sexual fantasy" time and energy on and I never shared it with them. No, a person's not "OBLIGATED" to, but that doesnt seem like an emotionally communicative relationship.

Eh. Neither partner ought to read too much into what the other partner thinks about when they masturbate. What about all the folks out there to get their rocks off thinking about Porky Pig raping Elmer Fudd? Too much like the thought police for comfort. There be dragons. It is even more slippery to consider that they are only masturbating to it as part of an effort to manifest it into reality. If you could do that, you better tell Elmer to watch his ass.

I disagree. The exchange of money was the thing that traumatised her in the first place. She wants to relive sex with multiple people that she enjoyed not the exchange of money that traumatised her.

Spot on mate.
Steph should have shut it down and not engaged in anything like a threesome until she was able to come clean with her husband. She was not in a place to be opening her marriage considering the secrets she was harbouring. Honest communication is essential for open relationships, something Steph struggles with. The MC could use some lessons in honest communication as well.

It was a joke.
The story of Chuc is sewn with white thread. Let's compare Steph and Chuc.
Chuc.
Chuck fucked Steph. Chuck didn't love Steph. Quote from Steph: "Chuck just laughed at me. He never loved me!" Quote from Steph for MC: "At that point, I was guilty of keeping you in the dark about a couple of things, but you were hardly the poor fool." For Chuck, Steph is, in fact, a stranger. Chuck didn't talk about the money.
Steph.
A small note. Steph loves group sex (impossible in a monogamous marriage) and loves this lifestyle. Quotes from Steph "I basically said that I liked that too." "I loved it." "And I loved that too." This love cannot be turned off by turning the switch in the brain. This love will definitely come out. Quote from Steph "I missed... I missed the group sex."
MC – fiance/husband of Steph. Steph loves and respects her husband (no evidence). Steph withheld information about her love for a non-monogamous lifestyle until marriage. I believe that knowing that your girlfriend and possibly future bride loves group sex and a non-monogamous marriage is of great importance in deciding the format of a future relationship. Steph manipulates MC, her ego demands marriage. Does Steph love and respect MC?
On Friday, Steph again withheld information from MC. Knowing the whole story will have a strong influence on the choices the MC makes. She manipulates the MC - her ego demands it. Does Steph love and respect MC?
Quote from Steph: s "Chuck wanted to mislead me. He enjoyed it. I never wanted to mislead you, and I sure as hell didn't enjoy it." To not tell before marriage is to mislead. Not to tell on Friday is to mislead. She didn't like it, but she continued to do it. The hedgehogs cried, but continued to fuck the cactus. For Steph, only her ego matters. Does Steph love and respect MC?
Quote from Steph: s "I never tried to take anything from you, and I never wanted to hurt you." Steph took away MC's right to make an informed and correct decision about marriage. Steph took away MC's right to make an informed and correct decision about a non-monogamous marriage. Does Steph love and respect MC?
Double standards from the author. Chuck withheld information - an asshole, a bastard, etc. Steph, who withheld information twice, is a loving wife. Steph can leave Chuck, MC is doomed to lifelong penal servitude Steph.

you're totally right, but don't worry all those authors resolve that with... remaster! let's change/remove MC choices, more VN style , let him enjoy, initiate the whole thing, maybe even forced cheating men are so mean you know and you're good to go...
dont worry
In real life, someone wishing for a monogamous relation, in my country (while most laws or sentence tends to defavor men), MC could use something called "erreur sur la personne" meaning you're being mistaken about the person qualities and what he/she is in reality which can be used to void a mariage. This ridiculous mariage could totally fit in that category. But i'm wondering why in 2024 people writing those games are still using married people since it has lost all meaning except for taxes.

As Steph talks to the MC's ears about how they will explore "the boundaries" together, I see Steph's boundaries stretched beyond the horizon by previous experience, and the little MC in the center.
Edit.
This is not an exploration, this is a tour of Steph's memorable sites.

Well if it was just the exchange of money that traumatized Stef, then that means she’s offended by being a prostitute and having sex for money. (Yeah that’s offensive to her) but she has no problem giving that pussy and ass away for free :ROFLMAO:
Especially free gangbangs is her fetish, probly bbc gangbangs too
