The partner who hurt Steph by whoring her around the campus was doing stuff that JAson did - goading his coworkers/collegues into his bed and into Steph. Steph had reasoned she would do it for her lover, but the lover was doing it to exert dominance over her, money and to disrespect her. That was what broke her, not the acts themselves, but the whole meaning of them towards her: two bit whore with her lover cashing in - something that very much resembles sex trafficking - not slavery, not rape, but trafficking of women for proffit over their sexual practices.
In this game, the whole point of the reveal is - Jason did exactly whate her old partner did to her and he could stand to reap the rewards regardsless of Steph, only by manipulating MC further down the rabit hole. That alone would disqualify Jason from ever getting near Steph.
That is why Steph, by the time you are getting home, she is disgusted and feeling horrible: she let Tori and Jason turn her into that two bit whore she hoped for so long she would never be again.
Maybe that was what tipped her into telling MC - all of it had turned into her worst nightmare.
This is all about feelings and own self - Steph literally paid Gina for going home to MC and her for the sister dinner, Steph gave the go ahead to Tori telling Jason to use whatever methods - good ol lying bate and switch - to get Steph into their shenanigans. Tori lied to MC and Steph, while actually grooming Steph for half a year with disingenuous fachades and elaborate lies -when she knew right out the get go Jason was up to his usual shenanigans.
If you are a true lover of Stephany, you would send Paul home, because your beloved Steph did not feel it at all and you would buy Gina a drink at the bar so that she would be open to come home with you - if you do not, you expose Steph to become a two bit whore to Donni - this game has subtleties and only by trying different paths we can rekindle our love for it.
For players who just want porn tropes - they can still be whatever and revel in assholes manhandling and hurting Steph by abbandoning her to the two bit whore life - be the uncarring cuckold who, by the way, is absolutely surreal of a dimwit about Tori and Jason all the game time.
For anybody wondering where this is going -
be aware it was Steph who brought Gina home from the club, she did it for her, not for MC, so if and when you decide to refuse her future ”gifts” that she does so she can enjoy herself watching MC with women she goads and sometimes outright buys with girfts, let alone extensively talking them up to do her bidding while with MC and under her strict supervision - you are hurting Steph and denying her pleasure at staging scenes for you - she is that confident and domineering that she wants you to enjoy what she prepares for you by immagining what you would enjoy by herself.
