Just checking I had 2 scenes with the red lines crossed through them for Sakura and the pink haired rebel girl. Were there meant to be H scenes with these 2?

Also I can't seem to trigger the final sports club event as it says I should visit on the afternoon but there isn't an option of that.

Apologies that you ran into an issue with the updater! There have been quite a few unforseen issues that have cropped up over the past couple hours since release, mostly due to Windows being overly protective of file overwrites. Assuming you're using Windows, of course.

If it's not too much trouble, is it possible for you to send me a copy of the log file? it'll be within "AnotherWorld-pc/update/log.txt" - it'd really help out a lot for troubleshooting to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen in future

Can't do that, as I tried to replicate the same situation, by updating from 1.10.0 again, it suddenly worked as it should.

Checked the trashbin, and it seems no log.txt was generated in that folder back then either.

This game said there'd be horror right? Can we kill Kirei? I'm only 15 minutes into the game and I'd like to throw her off the school rooftop if that's fine.

currently 1 H scene with Skura, and none with Kirei - if you've seen it, you've seen it.

Ignore the Sports Club Event - it's not yet implemented and is a small bug

Thanks for trying - did have some issues with my server for the first few hours after release - could have just been an error thrown from there.

Alright I've played through almost 3 hours of the sandbox grind and got to like one of the major fights of the story between ami and saori and I gotta say, you need to tone down the horror. It almost ruins the hentai aspect of the game with how much is hitting me ngl, I love the story, but tone down the horror if possible.
Outside of that the game is amazing honestly, all the characters are, well definitely keepers, I personally like ami and kasu so far.

Sandbox grind is minimal - you'll stumble into pretty much every event naturally

Yeah that was worded wrong I was simply grinding affection points and you can skip those but I deliberately chose not too, poor word choice for me I would not change my opinion though I love this game so far as it's turning out. And Finally Kirei is slowly growing on me.

no need to apologize. while i appreciate dev reply, if you had to grind for affection points to see what you wanted to see, optional or not, then i'm going to have to do the same thing. probably. because i just want to see your story and scenes. so just no thanks.

unnecessary grind is unnecessary by definition. i feel the same way with "dating sim" / not-harem / one-path-per-girl style stuff too. unless your game is fun as hell, forcing people to play every different path is also no bueno for me.

so all good. it IS tagged as sandbox. don't change a thing. stick to your vision. some sandbox are more tolerable than others, but very very rarely. my comment was specifically to the "3 hours of grind" comment. don't apologize for truth.

You made a mistake, Sakura's final event is red/missed when the variable is set to true.

The variable is just a flag. It can unlock some events whilst locking you out of others

Yeah, but shouldn't that flag mean the event is properly seen, instead of getting "missed", especially since the name of the event is a word only used in the proper version.

I'd assume there is a perfect playthrough without any red events.

The flag is simply to log a choice you have made. Some events are available if you picked one option, other events are available if you've picked the other. I discourage the idea of a clear 'right' and 'wrong' path - the only 'correct' choice is the one that you believe is right.

Either way - in a given playthrough, you will miss some events by virtue of not being able to choose both ways

That is really disheartening, because the red crossed out name on those events makes you feel like you did something wrong, even though that event with her is a happier version if you "missed" it.
