as a dev myself I know that if my game is getting attention and 1 or 2 people want major changes and everyone else is fine with it. I'll just stick to majority silent vote.

'Awake' has only 92 supporters on patreon so even if a large chunk of those 92 people demanded a gameplay overhaul it's still not a good idea to listen to them because you are going to waste months on content that will not get you any more supporters. Who is going to sign up for the patreon of a porn game dev because of the improved UI of a game with very little h content? It just makes no sense.

Again the developer is free to do whatever he wants, but that doesn't mean that whatever he wants is the necessarily the right move. I can't imagine why you would be wasting any time on this project and not try to get 1000 backers on patreon and live like a king working from home.

Jesus Christ, it's not blind faith to let a creator make changes to optimise and improve things and seeing how it shakes out.

The creator is trying to tell a story, if all you want is porn you know there are websites with videos, right?

I originally brought up ROP because another user tried to use the age old stupid line 'the developer wants to do X so you should listen to him as you know nothing' in his defense. That shocked me. The levels of ignorance are off the charts. I can only imagine some medieval peasant who has never left his farm and has never owned a book when I read stupid shit like that.

well, I don't think listening to 1 or 2 people on this site is going to change the number of supporters they have. the popularity of a game has many factors.

story line, how unique the models are, etc... while I can see your point about UI change won't make much impact. you have to think about why the dev might want the change. perhaps it's a pain to code. maybe it doesn't flow well in gameplay.

edit: also, the point of this game is slow burn. it's not really meant to be just porn. that what makes porn games unique. they're meant to have realisms.

There are plenty of games on this site that have a large following and a large subscriber base on patreon that I would personally describe as mediocre, generic, not having standout gameplay or models etc, but the 1 thing that connects 99% of them is that they have a lot of h content and are updated semi regularly at least during the first 12-24 months of their existence. After that the developer can start getting lazy or distracted with 'gameplay reworks'(aka what many call 'milking'), but to do it now while the game is still trying to find a large enough audience? Doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

Just got this game first time. When I am at the "choose your censorship level"-Menu and I enter the provided code on the first post, I got a sound for incorrect input and nothing changes. Any Idea, where did I get it wrong?

Ahhhhh yes.....the ol listening to wise criticism of the minority so you game suits them and probably alienates a bulk of the others. Here's something helpful, if more people wanted what you suggested, more people would suggest it and it would become valid........but no one else is. You might be right, but maybe build your own game and prove it.

You are clearly typing this without having the necessary context. I am not advising the developer to add or remove a kink or whatever. I am advising him to not waste time on the gameplay of his porn game because it will not help him get more support in this early stage of development. Also, Ubisoft and Bethesda probably also thought that only a 'minority' of users were complaining and now both companies are releasing under performing games. Coinkydink? I think not. Criticism is basically free feedback. Ignoring it is an exercise in stupidity.

This project is also no game yet, but something created out of passion. You can criticize, but let it be constructive. I for one was impatient with the releases back in 2022 and 2023, but learned it's not a usual f95 game. This will take a while to finish. What is in this project is of care and quality though, from what I can play so far.

Game just feels like a fever dream with blue ball scenes as bad as AWAM. Game went on-hold only to return with a whole lotta nothing. This isn't a game I would recommend people to subscribe to.
