I think you'll find that it is mathematically correct. Scouts get 10$ for a camel. the scout with you should therefore get 5$. If you don't bring it back to the compound, she gets nothing. Therefore, she wants her 5$ to let you NOT kill the camel. For those struggling...4 camels, and you need to catch em alive...merchant dude in bar sells tanq. darts
One question for tim (dunno if someone already asked), when catching a camel...I understand that with not killing it, the compound wont get meat, so no 5$..but having those 5$ taken away from me seems...like a bug.
p.s. I rly like this one, actually even more than BoB, dunno...I think the entire apocalypse setting gives more opportunities for world building.
Ah, I hadn't noticed you could go back to area B2, that's a bug then, I meant for that area to be cleared once visited.Posting from the other, now defunct(?), V02, thread:
I am posting my first xls for Apocalypse, as I do for BotB. It is not really interesting yet as it is early days for Apocalypse. In the xls you will find:
- tab 1, list of persons (mostly girls) you can meet, the areas to explore and what you can find there, places to find the genie's stones etc. Probably the most interesting page for now.
- tab 2, walkaround. Not an attempt to do anything, just kicking as many tyres as possible
- tabs 3 and 4, two paths to give a general impression
There is no 'efficient' path yet as there are too many random events that do not lead to a completion yet.
I can give only these guidelines for must do:
- get the tranqulizer darts from Old Joe as soon as possible, preferably on day 1, as you need them to get camels
- start collecting camels asap, as you need at least 4 to buy Zara
- you need to buy Zara and have sex with her before the end of week 2. Otherwise it is game over due to the aliens in area A2
- when you have opened up the B areas go to area B2 first as that is where the genie is. You need stones for her that are all over the place. If you go to B2 later you are wasting time as you probably need to revisit places you have already been.
Note, the paths have not been updated for the GA version. Working on that.
Oh ok, so I just understood it wrong. For me it was, no dead camel no 5$..didn't rly thought about that the girl that went scouting with me wants to be compensated ...but then again, she could be compensated differently *cough* xDI think you'll find that it is mathematically correct. Also, there is another outdoor area available on week 2 where there are 2 camels up for grabs. There, you don't need to pay the other scout anything to get one live camel...
No, B2 is cleared. I meant when your first and only visit to B2 is later on.Ah, I hadn't noticed you could go back to area B2, that's a bug then, I meant for that area to be cleared once visited.
BIGG Hint: one of the locations spawns two camels. So it doesn't cost you 5 dollars. The scout shoots one, you capture the otherFor those struggling...4 camels, and you need to catch em alive...merchant dude in bar sells tanq. darts

For the same reason you cant actually go back to the one girl's room despite her dinner invitationWhy can't I cosplay with Angie? I have the Capt. America outfit but she asks if I have a costume I always say no...

Ah damn, I managed to add an error in this version that wasn't there before... I'll have to upload a bugfix tomorrow.Pretty funny so far. I like the over the top humor and the basic Fallout + porn theme appeals to me. The exaggerated proportions are not really my thing but I find that I don't mind it in this game. Some of the animations are good as well. I did run into a crash out in the desert that I wasn't able to recover from though:
