this is so awesome game, new age rpg, so many waifus to fuck
thank you creators! your first game i played Island Saga was awesome, but this one, just wow
Dont change, never, put even more girls in a future games :)

As 1.05 is still the latest ... seems like they never did fix it up. They'll leave the inability to hide the textbox as just another bug not to fix.
It's bad enough I gotta try 'n shoehorn it into the many games that don't actually include it, but now also into games that do include it, but the localization breaks it. :cautious:
Luckily it ain't an ancient RPGM engine.

Does anybody know how to fix this error? I've been trying to play on playjoi but I just can't figure out how to fix or get rid of it.

I don't think there's any "legit" way to get the item other than save editing at the moment. Maybe it was originally intended as a NG+ reward similar to Island Saga, but unfortunately it got cut in the final release. I've tried beating the game twice, hell difficulty, 100% cards, all heart events, all side quests, killed the optional NG+ boss and I still don't get the item, not even on 3rd run start reward.

Maybe in the future, Kamichichi will add it with an update, but right now your best bet is to mod the game. Few pages back someone has successfully getting it to work with modifying the game file, so you might want to check that out.

you need to find file named www/js/plugins/MoviePicture.js and instead of lines 385 and 386:
const path = require('path');
this._videoPictureName = path.join(path.dirname(StorageManager.localFileDirectoryPath()), movieName);

you should type:
this._videoPictureName = movieName.replace(/.*\//, '').replace(/\.webm$/, '');

Save changes and restart the game

Thanks for the advice! Just tried it and the error is finally gone. But the h-scene isn't working for some reason now. All I get is a black screen with particle effects. Did I do something wrong?
