This game has some of the best quality writing and renders. Of all porn games I've played it's definitely in the top tier. It would be nice if there were some more choices in two different ways; plots choices that have consequences (like that NTR path that's been hinted at), and choices within a given sex scene for where to cum/what position/etc.
Otherwise, my biggest gripe (which is pretty trivial) is that every time I read 'Oli' I hear 'Ollie' which makes me think of an overweight teenager. 'Liv' or 'Livy' or 'Vi' is a much better abbreviation for Olivia.

Fantastic game. It has its flaws with bugs and dialogues but in terms of 3D production quality it's probably one of the highest on this site. With all the post rendering of scenes, and episodic style storytelling which implements different control mechanics, you can definitely see the amount of work and passion that has been put into this by the creator. The mysterious mood and atmosphere really stands out thanks to the music and art direction, but the highlight for me is the character model (or daughter) Abigail: She's just super hot, and right up there with Megan from Echoes of Lust. I do wish though that the character dialogues in Day S were more - how should I put it - "Taboo"? As in Aiden, Olivia and Abigail, while trying to fight off the sexual temptations or during sex and creampie scenes, were given more dialogues and thoughts to express just how fucking wrong it is/was to have incestuous thoughts or commit incest sex with an immediate family. What I'm trying to say is, yes I know the game isn't suppose to be incest unless patched, but I wish the dialogues were written in way that synergized better with the Incest Patch to give off a much stronger sense of taboo.

Hey guys I need some help I don't know how to get through this problem.
Areas of GRAY 1.0 [BETA] - DAYs, I found a lot of bugs in this game.
First of all as usual after the update, we need to play for more new scenes right?
When I finished the end of this version then I find out that I missed 1 scene it's a new Mary service scene.
I don't know how to go back there to get that scene it's only way is start over, so I decide to play it again from the beginning of this version(DAYs). I play until Abigail asks me to hug at night this situation we still can't fuck her yet right?
But next day I can fuck her in the ass?? yeah it's a bug and then a lot of quests from past and last version switch tangle here and there. After 2-3 quests after that it nothing new quest update just "PROCESSING". No matter how many times I start over, it's still the same. So I can't do anything and stuck there . and one bug at replay mode I can't play some scene with Abigail and Mary that in game request relationship, i guess it because i had new start and the relationship not enough yet.
I'll really appreciate that if someone come to help me with this.
Ps. Sorry for my broken english.

I have encountered the bugs you described before. During my first play through the Abigail events were all over the place and like you, the ass fucking in the Orangery occurred very early as oppose to the supposed slow build up. It caused an issue for me in the end where I couldn't obtain certain gallery scenes because it skipped a few events which could have raised Abigail's Love Meter. Disappearing UI and lack of new quests (just PROCESSING) were also ones I came across almost every time when I tried to repeat the play-through to complete the Gallery, and from experience that can be fixed by completely closing the game and opening again (so save, close the game, open the game again, and load). One thing I highly recommend while playing Areas of Gray: Day S is rather than using left click on the mouse, use SPACE BAR instead during dialogues. I found that out from a previous poster (who had similar issues) here saying that mouse clicks apparently can cause scene skip problems which for whatever reason can mess with Abigail timeline of events.Hey guys I need some help I don't know how to get through this problem

Am I the only one who doesn't want the Halloween update? I guess technically it'll be more content than without it, and I trust NOTvil to release a quality product, I just really want to see how Day S ends, and having to wait even longer is going to drive me nuts, especially if it goes past the end of the year.
I can also see him getting some ideas out in the Halloween game, which I can't imagine will be canon, and the last update will be lacking some stuff that instead got put into the Halloween update.
Maybe I'm just too pessimistic or impatient, what are your guys thoughts?

It's not something I'd ever ask for, but there's been plenty of times where I didn't know I wanted something until it was right in front of my face.
I imagine sometimes these creative types just have ideas boiling up to the surface that just have to get out. More power to 'em.
There's nothing from this developer that I haven't loved yet, so...
