New Interface...
Hey guys!
Here is an example of the new interface.
This isn't the final version (some menus will be added later).
As you can see, now every character has his own stats(LOVE, EROGASIAN and MOOD levels), so the gameplay will be based on them.
I believe this feature will make the game not so linear and more exciting.
Well, anyway... There is a lot of work to do still.
I will keep you informed.

I hope those stats don't mean we'll have to watch TV with Abigail 4 times to make her happy,
I'm not a fan of grinding for stats in these type of games.

Hey guys!
Some info for you.

So what's done atm...
I'm almost finished the script writing. The game won't be so linear as before and it's harder to work with the text now. Because from now it's based on the event system. I think I will start rendering now and add some script during the rendering stage, it should be easier for me to finish the text.
Also, as you can see (on the preview, sorry for the GIF quality ) the UI of the game has changed. Now there isn't just characters stats but also the Transition, Erogesian, Time control features.
Transition (on the top of the screen) - this is how we're going to move through the apartment now. You won't be able to use doors as before. I think it's much easier to move like that.
Erogesian - this little button will allow you to release the gas from time to time. Sure, to make the characters hornier :)
Time control - as you could understand, this feature will allow you to change the current time of the day. The Time Control is meant to give you more freedom in the game.
All these menus and buttons can be minimized if they'll annoy you during the gameplay.

Unfortunately, I had to reject some ideas that I wanted to implement. But I think the game won't lose a lot without them...

It's difficult to fit everything you wanted into one game. Ask any fition (or non-fiction!) writer, any film maker how much (good!) material ends up on the floor, in the bin! :eek:)

Nice outfits (and girls)! Have to say, I get them two confused sometimes (esp seen from behind, or when in small images). Could be my eyes. Could be family resemblance! :D

First of off, I thank the devs for such a great game.

I am sorry to hear about the lack of linearity. I've always preferred visual novels as opposed to a game. I liked the classic Areas of GRAY and am worried about the new direction.

As far as porn games are concerned, I'm not especially into harem... but I prefer that than the "And now, lets redo the entire game 8 times, once for each character." A harem just allows me to see the scenes with all the women without restarting at day 1 PER woman.

A non-porn example: Star Wars the Old Republic. I have to redo 60 hours of common gameplay x8 to get 2 hours of class specific gameplay x8 i.e. 480 hours of grind for 16 hours of new.

That kind of broke me for life for regular and porn games.

BUT... if that kind of non-linearity i.e. "I have to replay the whole game to get the content for each woman" is what your playerbase wants... or that's what you like to design... you have to go with that.

Again, though, bears repeating, thank you for this game.

Ah, the development goes really slow this time, because I have to rewrite part of my engine's code. This is so annoying...
Meanwhile, the rendering stage goes well and quite a lot of renders have already been done.
Also, trying to prepare some sexy animations, as always.
The gameplay mechanics will be changed again, just a little bit. I don't want to promise anything this time, coz I have a tendency to change my thoughts and reject my ideas.
So, you'll see everything when the version will be done :)

Just my opinion: why not make it easier on yourself and use ren'py? I find Renpy save, load and rollback options/features more appealing than auto-save and not being able to rollback if I want in the case of your engine. Also it's easier to run, for those who have low quality laptops/pcs and still want to play.

It is his second adventure with this ... what ever concoction he got there ... Hard to learn new tricks ... when other devs cave in to the struggle of not handling their engine properly.

Hey!
Some info for you.
So... The development goes as it should.
Some new elements were added to the game like a manual save system. I know many of you were asking about this feature, so there won't be autosave anymore (in this chapter).
I decided not to make the game very non-linear, as I wanted before. Anyway, the choices will affect some parts of the game. They will mainly concern the relationship between Abi and Aiden. And I'm not talking about choices that you made in the DayZero chapter (these will affect the end of the game - 4th chapter).
Also, the current chapter DAYs may have different endings, sure if I won't change my mind.
I just need to release v0.7, and everything will become more clear for me.
