Bit of a speculative info-dump here. So I posted a while ago about expeditions needing a buff or additional content to be worth doing...and I was kind of wrong. Hope's rare materials quest got me curious--turns out, both Forest Kraiknar Bones and Void Crawler Plasma sell for 55 credits each. You can fight them twice per expedition and get something like 1-4 of these per fight. Meaning you net between 110 and 440 credits per expedition. Expeditions cost 150 credits after the first trip of the week, so the profit ranges from -40 to 290 credits per expedition.
Let me check...
Flight to Zeme, 150 credits. Uwyn River...3 bones. Repeat...3 bones. Return. +330, -150. Was that a coincidence?
Flight to Zeme, 150 credits. Uwyn River...3 bones again. Repeat...yup, consistent drop rate of 3 bones. +180 credits.
So there's a way to consistently earn 180 credits without spending action points as soon as the spaceport is unlocked. Or 330 credits once per week with the free flight, or twice per week with the Warden perk for a second free flight. Is it fun? Not really. But it's there to be abused.
And if you're not up for that level of grind you can go into "www, data, items," and search "forest kraiknar" to get to item id 100, then edit "price" from 55 to something else. Sort of a middle ground between outright cheating and wanting a way to earn money without in-game time passing. Ironically this gets easier to do as the week progresses and the gladiator gets her buffs up despite players needing that money the most at the beginning of the week.
I also got the Sadistic breakthrough on Geyna. I assume this means breakthroughs have to do with dialogue options or the game's directional flowchart. There are multiple endings and storylines, right? The Sadistic breakthrough gets you...drumroll...a 10% boost to total HP. Dunno what the other--
Hang on. In "www, data, states," you can find Hardened (+30% critical evasion) and Sadistic but not Impulsive, Loving, Depraved, Serene, Superstar, Confident, or Broken. So they don't have combat functions? I got Loving on Elona, but don't remember what it did...
