I have much more faith in the developers of haramase simulator, it took them a year but it was a very good massive update, and then we have Arenus that has not received anything in more than a year, it is unfortunate that a game with potential is not receiving love from the developers.

Why? WW III won't happen. Do you think the suits will go into nuclear shelters for decades (none of them will actually see the light of day again before they die from old age because it takes a few hundred years until the environment isn't exposed to radiation anymore) and give up their times in front of cameras and eating the good stuff all day? Nah, all empty words, they won't live like peasants. ;)

Which would mean Arenus will never get finished. Not that it would come as a surprise after so many delays.
Just for science, radiation from nuclear bomb don't last that long, something around 10 year. But if too many bomb would explode at the same time, then we will enter a nuclear winter which would probably mean the end of humanity.

Well there is a new update blog on their patreon. But 10 $ just for some game update information, where other developers charge 1 - 3 $ is just way too much for my taste :)

New pst will do the one next week "if" it happens

Hey folks
First of all: We hope that you folks liked the latest and final Sunshade Update. The release of Arenus is getting closer and closer, and with that we're also getting closer to the final chapter of Roundscape Adorevia.
It is important to keep in mind that Arvus Games consists of two teams. A creative one (Nampites, FuranH and Cosmojacker) that is creating scripts and art and a technical team (Kaliyo and Dairnon) for the coding and turning assets into playtime.
All Assets for Arenus are done, which means that mainly the Technical Team is working on Arenus. During these many months, the Creative Team has been working hard on assets for Roundscape Adorevia. Today we want want to share some of our progress.
A New Companion
Back when we announced the final chapter of Roundscape, we included a survey of what you folks would like to see. A new companion was the winner. So today we're happy to announce that final Roundscape Patch will introduce Camilla. An exotic druid from Kanthu.

Roundscape features a large cast of Companions but we're confident that Camilla will add something new and refreshing to the cast. She shares a strong connection to nature and her mature personality will easily make her the MILF of the team.
Nampites and FuranH did a fantastic job and there will be lots of fun content for Camilla to encounter once the final chapter is released. We hope you're looking forward to it!

There's two areas left to be explored in Adorevia. Kanthu and The Ethereal Grasslands. So naturally, we'll add those two in the Final Chapter.
Camilla can be encountered in Kanthu. For the Grasslands and the Ruins Of Tesa... You'll have to wait and see for yourself what secrets and characters you will encounter there.

As mentioned before, the final chapter will break save files. This allows us to work on it without having to hold back, we're excited and a bit nervous for the final chapter of Roundscape Adorevia. Next week we'll do a similar post of our progress on Arenus.
Thank you for your support and trust
- Kaliyo

I don't know if its dates are reliable, but Steam.db now lists games' hidden "Coming Soon" Release Dates, though some may be placeholders. Arenus is listed as 27th July 2022. See here -

I believe the game was first announced alongside other projects sometime in... 2014? 2015? But just as an announcement, devs said they regretted announcing it this early ever since because it setup expectations, and working multiple projects as a solo/duo of dev.. is hell (hence the promise to keep it one project at a time in the future).

And original release was maybe 2020 demo, which got delayed to 2021, and according to dev team, the game loop changed so much following player feedback on the demo, the demo is almost 100% outdated and unrepresentative of the final gameplay loop (graphics and art unchanged, as they often state, technical and art team are separate)

Overhaul about 5 delays like the person above said, but in the end, probably for the best (the original 2017 date is because the project been rebooted hence why early art and today's art is from different artist)

game needs an abandoned tag at this point.
I can confidently say it is not necessary for now :)
