Honestly after seeing the trailer I do have some hope for the game the city looks more vibrant and well lived in lots of UI changes here's hoping that 30-40 hrs gameplay is fun whether you're winning or losing. I'm really hoping that branching path actually means branching paths and not just same scene for all paths but with some text change for being Friendly or Bold.

They'll run multiple QA runs before patreon release unlike Roundscape patches, to be safe on game breaking bugs. Might still be some minor bugs/computer spec specific bugs happening, the team being small they don't have thousands of PC configs, and arenus being a heavily modified RPGM, to the point it like a whole new engine, yeah..
Trailer showed what I expected, some random people walking to make the street look busy, empty places, a few new npcs, training stuff empty with just your character doing a few movements, skill tree for the combat that looks alright I guess.

Reminds me of porn magazines where half the pages are full with random ads and not what the magazine pretends to be about.
It will have bugs for sure. Games that updated monthly have bugs and its just a small add of content so imagine relapsing a full game. This is one of that cases one should not really hurry up for a leak because it will need a little of time to at least fix important bugs.
Also now im commenting, people should calm a little. I dont want to defend the devs, they have done mistakes and its understable and rational people lost trust on them, this is something i completely agree but just dont go too far. They did good things like improve below sunshade, a game which was pretty meh, 4/10 if no less, and now its at least a 6 or 7. I can tell you that if they only wanted money, they would have not done that updates or even side games and just stick to milk thw golden cow that is roundscape until it gets dry. The devs have quality in their work.

Most of the delays are for fixing those important bugs (so, as you say, not hurrying for a leak!). The QA is to confirm no important bugs may appear on other systems than the two devs (yes they are only two, and only one full time).
So yeah pretty confident it'll be a good release, of course not perfect and spotless, but not a broken mess

I'm kind of in the same boat. I really think the community turned against the devs fast. Arenus had a pretty decent record of updates and progress, and the demo is one of the nicest looking H games I've seen. I assumed that kind of quality took time. And yeah, 6 months is a bit long for a lack of updates when the game was 'almost finished', but to call for the project to be considered abandoned is going a bit far. I've seen projects go without updates for years before getting that tag.
I assumed that H game fans would know better after Malice and the Machine and Breeding season. Or maybe it was those games that made the expectation for abandoned games, I'm not sure.
Either way, I'm excited for the full game to come out. I'm a big fan of Armida's look, and I want to see what her story is like.

Why is the trailer in Youtube, are these devs retarded. Upload the trailer on a porn site and then link it. We can get a glimpse of the actual content we want to see, not some walking animation and background art of the world. Also still not a final release date just a month window, what is with this shit. Literally put a fucking Deadline for yourself and then crunch it hard as you said.
Honestly I'm just glad the post is public. Usually they put even their news updates behind a paywall.
The devs are notoriously bad at meeting deadlines (the original deadline for this game was almost 2 years ago), so they've mostly given up on setting dates.
