First, you jump in out of nowhere and give your opinion. You don't like how the game starts, and it's too big, so it's not for you.
Fine. You were rude about it, but not overly so.
Next, someone is annoyed 'cause you clearly didn't give the game a chance. Also fine. Two snippy comments. We're even.
Then you jump back and attack HP for his username and list all the reasons the START of the ADULT GAME ON A SITE THAT PROMOTES PRIMARILY PORN GAMES doesn't work for you in a way that implies you're not actually well-versed in the concept of "introducing the cast of characters of a new story."
Why is it hard to believe that someone who had a suicidal meltdown is struggling financially at the START of the story?
Why is it hard for you to believe that said person would go to his still-bestie-after-failed-attempted-relationship and she would try her best to find him work at the START of the story?
Why is it hard for you to accept that he'd miraculously meet his old high-school working partner who is able to bail him out of his dire situation at the START of the story?
Why would you be shocked that a sorority in a game hosted on a SITE THAT PROMOTES PRIMARILY PORN GAMES would have such a lewd contest to admit its newest pledges, and that the MAIN CHARACTER of the story would somehow be roped into participating in the contest? In what is still the START of the story?
What SHOULD have surprised you was that said main character DIDN'T ACTUALLY SUCCEED in the task asked of him. If the antagonist of the scene hadn't been so excited she swallowed the evidence of his failure, she would have probably been deemed to have won, reinforcing that the MC is not some kind of perfect sexual freak.
What's ridiculous is not that you didn't like any of this. It's that you saw all this and thought "how can anyone like this?" and felt the need to be rude in your expression of that opinion.
What's ridiculous is that you felt so insulted by someone suggesting you might enjoy the game more if you gave it a chance that you insulted their username, listed all the opening story points, and then implied that only someone stupid could accept and enjoy such a story.
What's ridiculous is that you came onto a thread about a game hosted on a SITE THAT PROMOTES PRIMARILY PORN GAMES and basically kink-shamed everyone about the idea of enjoying a sorority hazing ceremony 'cause you thought it was out of character for some of the women HOSTING -- NOT PARTICIPATING -- in said ceremony, as if such people would never do such a thing in a story or in real life.
Anyway, as other's have implied, I'm not interested in your response. You've already made it clear that those of us who enjoy this type of game are delusional, so you probably won't get anything from my rant anyway, and I clearly won't get anything from any response you have for me.
I do hope you find something on this site that is more to your liking and sensibility. I'm not optimistic.

Sororoty girls having sex parties is nothing strange, drugs and alcohol have that effect on young horny peopleI am a big time simp of Artemis, but that is very out of place and character with the rest of the game. Almost feels like it was thrown in at the start to show that this game has lewd scenes and I rank it about same level with voyeurism and dreams in other 0.1 games.
The fact that women like Reina, Paige and Zelda would participate in something like that its not realistic with how they are portrayed in the rest of the game, but the worst part is they use girls that pledge the sorority as collateral damage in the prank to humiliate their ' 'enemy'. Makes them look really bad in retrospect.
Thankfully the rest of the game is miles better than whatever digi was trying with the college themed subplot.

Career oriented characters such as Reina, Paige and Zelda still being involved with it, unless we are talking some serious gentlemen club sex cult, its very jarring contrast with the rest of their portrayal in the game. The dev probably agrees otherwise I feel he would have escalated that plot as the game progressed, instead of mostly dropping it. Paige and Katy do point out they dredged it up out of the "old code" as an attempt to oust an annoying problem. Yes, it's mostly out of character for the older girls, especially Reina, at this point in their lives, but it's also out of apparent desperation, and not completely foreign to any of them.
It's also still an X-rated adult game, so it's in no way out of character for the genera.

They chose it as the most likely way to get rid of the girl (whose name escapes me) that had been a problem.
Paige thought is was a way to make it difficult for her and still satisfy the official rules.

It's said in the game that it was actually a "ride the colt," so the bj competition is actually a more tame modified version of the original. There is quite a contrast with how the game wants to portray the sorority and how they are or act as almost all had a really high GPA and double majors. Like wtf?

Shit, I wanted to know about the progress of the Artemis update, but this is not what I expected to see in the topic
Episode 1's introduction is vastly different with what the next episodes offer. If you can get past the overly raunchy introduction, you'll be met with a more serious story.
