Happy New Week!

This devlog will be on the less exciting part as I just continued working on scenes last week. Some of the parts for the NAS upgrade trickled in and the rest will be here tomorrow. All files were copied over, so getting it online should be a breeze (knock wood).
Also, while trying to resolve an issue related to Steam, I noticed that the links for the QR codes hidden throughout Book 1 are now broken. I've setup an account with PixelDrain and will be giving it that a run. QR renders will have their links updated to PixleDrain. Come release time, I'll also have the update hosted there. To my knowledge, seems to be the best option. Some people like MEGA, others don't due to the 5gb cap. That's been a long standing complaint and I still offer it for those who like MEGA. Google is nice but hits the cap very quickly on release day. WeTransfer has been going very well and haven't had any complaints. But for anyone having trouble with either the aforementioned file hosts, PixelDrain will now be an option. I believe I have about 8TB transfer limit, so should be more than enough to host things on.
Again, there's still a lot I'm working on right now with development. But for those on Steam, I'll be doing my best to resolve the achievements issue and update the QR code for both Steam and Patreon builds. QR codes not a big issue compared to everything else. So, it's lower on the totem pole, but is on my docket to look into.

apparently a "redemption" path for Cassandra was initially planned but was scrapped, much like Zoe being voted out and no longerbeing a LI, both because Digi.B, felt there were too many LIs.

For what he's trying to do, yeah that's too much. I think a redemption path would take too long to earn likeability and sympathy back for Cassandra for readers. It would be fun to see and I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt. Like to, not going to.

But it's unfortunate Zoe gotta voted out, but I'm glad Zelda wasn't voted out (she's my favorite). There may not be a lot explicit scenes with her, but the things you get to do with her are just lovely to say the least. My initial thought with her was that she was going to be the cynical and independent one of the group, but she's actually very sweet and a genuine delight to be around.

I am pretty sure Zelda is one of the most popular characters, there was never a danger for her.

I would also like once the game is done if digiS would release a what if/short story with her planned redemption route. Even if just text only.

Oh yeah of course no doubt. I just wanted a segue to mention Zelda. One of the cutest scenes I think ever in this game on par with the scenes with Artemis was the movie date. Seeing her burst into tears of laughter and that digi.b animated her try to collect her composure was small, but wow. Loved it. I want more of that shit.

We met her resembling a gugu-gaga aged human. I doubt I would have seen her as anything other than a daughter figure anyway, but that narrative choice for sure sealed the deal. I might not even be a completionist this time around.

Basically I won, since she is mega cute and never intended for anything else with her.
