Or a facepalm reaction, I often desire to use it because it is often my reaction hahaha.

Anyway it is always good to release the games on steam when it is somewhat a "finished" product. This site is a pirate one yes but there is people that play it here for free and enjoy it so much that they are willing or/and can afford to buy it on steam to give their own contribution but that don't want anything to do with patreon or paying a subscription but still want/able to financially support it. This sites can take with one hand but give with the other, it is one of the best advertisements around still.

so i bought new laptop and had to start all over. i did not even get to the part with new content and i've got so many errors. random transmitions from one scene to another causes error that i am forced to press ignore in order to continue reading. trying to open history causes error, sometimes i get multiple errors in a row... i figured this is somewhat related to the fact that they had to remove soundtracks for some reason (V mentions in opening scene that they had to remove soundtrack) but that does not explain history screen bug... so far this patch is very buggy and i hope fix is on the way.
I dont know if it is smooth sail once it gets to new content aka new content is bugproofed but not the previous chapters

Look, I don't know what to tell you. I also downloaded the entire game and started it from the beginning. I didn't encounter any bugs. I also have a new computer. How come there are so many reports? Why is it that some people don't have any problems and others get stuck everywhere?

Roaming profile in AppData. Make sure that's wiped. It stays with your Microsoft account, and the persistent file might be causing problems.

If you're on Windows, and are using a Microsoft Account as your windows login, your Roaming profiles often move with your account, that's what it was designed to do. Microsoft being Microsoft, it doesn't always do that. That's why desktop icons, themes, etc. are on your new PC after you login.

I used to buy all of these games on Steam. I no longer do for this reason. Why would anyone buy the game when you get it for free sooner?

To help the developer to keep building good games? Specially creators that develop independent games and most of them can't actually make a living from it but I still want them to keep doing them even with more quality and resources. Dunno it seems a common sense answer to me.

At least here I can get a free trial since most games are still in development and really filter what is excellent (for my taste of course) from the rest and what is worthy of a purchase. Just pity HS games have copyright issues to be released and sold on steam, only way is subscriptions usually.

hello everyone, I downloaded the newest update but it didn't add anything to the progression of the game??? I'm at the part where the MC, Artemis and Kindra are in the lab and June comes in and faints when she sees Artemis, that was where the game ended for me in the last update, any help would be appreciated

There is no new content since then, v6.1b is just bug fixes. You didn't think that we would get more content so quickly did you? The last update took over a year to make.

maybe depends what download link is used. i used mega, maybe others with same issue did the same. if you used something else and are not encountering the issues that would strenghten my guess, but either way yeah it sucks.
