It's more a "This game DOES contain gay content" which, in all fairness, it will. Regardless of how you play it, that content will remain. I've changed the start of the game to allow users to select if they wish for the blonde girl to be their sister or a childhood friend. The "Incest" tag will remain even if you choose the friend option.

I'll speak to a mod though, maybe get their take on the issue. I think the tags need to be behind a spoiler anyway due to the newer posting rules.

Having spoken with a Mod, the tags are used for searching for game genres. If a game contains gay content, it has a gay tag.
Not having a gay tag means some very unsuspecting straight guys may get a surprise.
We'll just have to rely on the more liberal minded to read a little more in to the game or view the screenshots to peak their interest and figure out it isn't a sausage festival.

It's not vndb sadly. But in my opinion, there should be such "optional" tags to completely replace just bland one if needed. Or, two different versions of it - "gay" and "optional gay". Something like that anyway for quick search and for our users sake.

It seems both ways to me. And he's not saying to replace or delete tag. If it's optional, then i would like to see word optional, and "gay" or "incest" with it. No need to remove anything. That's how it works in some other forums. Plain tag (or genre) is just plain, can be variations to it. It's just doesn't seem to be popular opinion here. More tags (and more precise ones) the merrier.

From what I understand, tags are predetermined. I could change the initial post and put (optional) in but a mod would remove it when seen. Something to do with the forum search function.

The real description of the game is in the OP and it is already clear (if user spend some time to read it of course). Maybe you can add the image of sex that you posted at your birthday (sex male/female) in OP with the others image.

Well, i can say that most patreon games have at least one optional little genre. If it's not kinetic novels without choices anyway. It's seems like a strange tactic to me indeed. Many others i know prefer to put as many precise tags as possible for ideal search and to minimize any questions. "Optional" is seems to me like a standard. There, you mostly can see very basic ones (that just everywhere pretty much). Or they can be missing. So i'm only searching for "name", AND you need to look at screenshots or read comments. The thing is, many users is lazy AF and won't do even that, just asking you question or angry (if there isn't any precise tags) "i thought this was optional netorare\incest\gay, but i guess not", "i'm sick of netorare\incest\gay, can you explain if it's optional", "what's up with this genre?" But each forum's admin would have their opinion about all that of course. The only thing i know, is that there is a lack of tags. For example, i would like to search for a game with black girl like Rachel. But i can't find your game since there isn't such tag "chocolate" or whatever.

I don't really know what to say that I haven' already said. Tag usage is not up to me. You can see by the Mod post above that even the request to use a "straight" or "hetero" tag was denied.
We can discuss tag use as much as we like but if the forum has a policy of permitted tags only then we cannot make up new tags such as "chocolate".

I do understand. I mean "Ebony" and "Asian" are popular search genres on porn sites yet don' exist here. But, we make do with what we have. I'm just glad people such as yourself takes the time to check a game out.

Hi! Good questions.
I got my new PC set up. 1050ti 4GB. It' working well. Some slight issues with asset heavy renders but far exceeding what I had.
I was offered assistance, very generously so but I had to decide against it to keep everything "in house" so to say since I cannot share asset files I have bought. License agreements and such. I'm trying to be legit in my workings.

As for work load, pretty much the same mate. Instead of one job with every bit of overtime I can grab, it's now 2 jobs. I now work in a mail distribution centre as well as a warehouse. Similar overall hours. I still average 1 or 2 hours a day to the game but thanks to the new graphics card, I'm managing 40-50 images a month instead of 30.

That's a whole lot of work you do for a mere 50-60 USD / month from pledges (I obviously know this is not about the money, Patreon games barely ever break even), so thank you very much.

You're right about the mindset.
I entered in to this with no expectations of making any kind of income from it. Every single dollar donated is a cherry on top of a hobby I enjoy doing.
I won't lie though, the idea and potential prospect of doing this as a full time job courtesy of Patrons excites me. As you said, games via Patreon rarely break even so it is indeed a fools hope but hey, dare to dream right?

I was trying to use google's URL shortner as it allows me to track throughput. It'd give me an idea of how many downloads each type gets. For example; It already says the PC version on MEGA has had over 100 downloads within the first 10 minutes.
MAC and Android are far behind on 12 and 15 which also tells me that android is just as popular as MAC so far.
I didn't foresee any issues arising but if they are cropping up, then it must be fixed.

I don't have number, but judging from the requests of mirrors and links, android is probably more popular than mac.

More "rounded", as in, cave to emotional pressure and not view gender dysphoria and its politically correct defence as a social illness, which by the way has only come to be viewed in any other way over the last ten years. I'll take the wisdom of, say, 5,000 years of culture worldwide over the combined frustrations of spoiled American tumblrinas on the internet any day of the week. That seems more "rounded" to me.
