In all actuality, I do not see MC intimately joining with Ataegina as incest either as she is a supernatural, spiritual entity rather than MC's actual flesh and blood mother. I don't hold that as a hard and fast rule, just that I am open to either side, considering Ataegina as MC's mother or just the inspiring goddess. Not sure if there is a right or wrong there. And, I agree that MC's adopted family is not incest... Off the beaten path? Sure. I will not debate whether it is in good taste or not as I, for one, cannot say no to either Isabella or Katla!
