Well, is it not actual delay, but part of the process then. But I seriously fail to understand whats the actual problem with releasing it for patrons anyway?
One the bright side Aurelia can't be bigger disappointment than S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2
Dissappointment? Only for wierd people who was blind, deaf and stupid enough not to investigate - who the fuck GSC Game world is. S2 is exact same shit the first game was. Bugged unplayable made from lies and horseshit, in dire need of mods.

I guess he wants to squeeze one or two more patreon monthly payments before people start ditching it since game will be finished and avaible to play

The game's being published by " ". One of the well known publishers that exclusively publishes porn games. From the store page, I can see they have around 24 games that have already been released (excluding the demos and unreleased games).

Shouldn't the publisher have handled this? Or informed the developer that this can happen since they already have experience on publishing these games?

I talked about this yesterday in this thread but my posts got quietly deleted, go figure. Also there's nothing stopping Mirthal from releasing it on Patreon and itchio on time

Well, maybe the deal with publisher stops from that. Or maybe the dev himself thinks it's beneficial tp him to release it simultaneously on all platforms.

Sometimes it's not even what you say but if what you say is relevant or actually makes part of a huge argument that could be taken to DMs (like your message or mine could end up delete if someone report them and they got consider irrelevant since if anyone wants to know what can or not be deleted there are thread with all details, somewhere).

LOL looks like porn games publishers only add trash launchers, bundles and cross-promotions into games
Also delay releases.

Not entirely true. I bet he want most sales to be from Steam because bigger commission is nothing compared to become trending in charts.
Steam is immensely huge compared to Patreon and Itch, one time sales there make devs more money, than 4 years of Patreon milking if the game is good.

Just hope they don't face the same fate than the femboy roommate game that got rejected by Steam after his demo being live for a while. It just takes one stupid reviewer to tople your schedule and plans

In the perfect world - yes, they should, they get money for that. In our reality though devs tend to drill a hole in their heads, flush their brain down the toilet and then making contract with some shiteater of a company(without reading the fucking terms). If aurelia got a publisher and it is experienced publisher and the project got delayed because of some internal process and it is a surprise for dev - he either didnt read shit or got fooled by some shitty publisher. Which means he is a moron. Or he is lying.

Not even right for Aurelia, it goes release.version.fix/tweak, the current uploaded one is 0.31.0. And either way, it's just one of the ways to go about it. It's a more common approach, but not a definitive one. Versioning is completely arbitrary. And in this case what I believe is the topic of the discussion is some people thinking how far the version number is from 1.0.0 is an indication of completeness.
I wasn't speaking about Aurelia in particular but about video games outside of the AVN world in general. I know it doesn't have to do with what we're dealing with here, I just wanted to point out that versioning actually does mean something in theory. But you are correct, lots of AVN authors go by their own standards and don't seem to respect any kind of "architecture" on that side.

I really hope this happens now.
Not a very clever way of thinking, don't know what would you possible win with that.

The game would not release sooner, they would rather take even more time to address whatever concerns Steam had wth the game to make it fit their "guidelines", which means even more delays, and during that time the dev would be getting a few more extra cash thanks to Patreon supporters for nothing (something that you already manifested a couple of times that concerns you by the way).
