I think he means that logically they've been fleeced of that money for a long time and not just now since he wasn't releasing any sort of builds in between. Any that would stop supporting him probably did so a while ago and one more month of paying wouldn't make a huge load of difference now.

I mean this is why piracy is king, moments like this.
I support projects where I truly trust the developers (very rare especially western developers)

I feel like people in this thread have never done any amount of development or business, let alone game dev. If the dev asks the person they have a business relationship and contract with about releasing early on non-Steam platforms and is advised not to, I think they're going to listen to the people they are in business with and not some pile of anonymous forum complaints that they want the game right now.

As Mark Rosewater once said about Magic the Gathering - if every pack of cards they sold came with a $100 bill in there, they'd get complaints about how it was folded. If your only post on this forum until the steam release is that the game is not out and therefore the paying people (not you, clearly) are getting scammed/milked, consider screaming it out the window instead - you'll get the attention you're seeking much easier that way.

This is an underrated point. Translations are great and all, but was there actually any marketing?

I mean, I wouldn't know the first thing about how to actually market an H game cause it's hard to advertise, but still. If you want a big release, you need to spend some time pumping it up. More than just the usual dribble of twitter posts

I still just don't see how keeping his cards close to his chest helps Mirthal. It's just tanking his reputation :/ He should set a deadline for asynchronous release at least so people stop making dozens of pages of posts speculating and jeering

He hasn't visited here since April unless it's under a different account. Unless his Patreon/Discord members are revolting, I seriously doubt he's concerned about his reputation here.

Has it been stated how much is gonna be added to this full build anyways, like I know ivy's whole questline is reworked but outside of that I dunno what else is being added, fully just tempted to play this game now if its gonna be only a couple of things added yk

What? F95 is one of if not the biggest community for H gaming. Reputation matters especially since piracy is almost the default and so much of H gaming is spread through word of mouth
