Technically the Dallas one is only side stuff and only if you go that route here, it isn't canon.
Octavia broke up with Penny, she didn't approve of what she's doing.
I know I said it earlier but Penny did go after Leah at the end of this, it's not like it's something new.

I find Octavia being much more motherly, and to me, Avalon needs that. I always do the Avalon route without the Polygamy thing, since I don't do or play any threesome routes in any game. Dallas is more flirty and well, more dangerously forward.
Since it's your first run, I suggest being faithful to Avalon but choose Octavia. The story is very good and it can get pretty emotional at times. It's not really a typical VN where you make every choice. Just some silly conversational stuff which makes no difference, then in Act 3 I think, you can choose to make it a Threesome route if you want. I don't. You might. Whatever it is, enjoy.

No problem, I could tell you more, but, don't want to spoil. I've done playthroughs with both girls still being monogamous to Avalon. Don't like Dallas as a person. Yeah she's Avalon's best friend an all, just not my type of girl.

Avalon is now on Steam; you can really help out the dev by putting the game on your wishlist (even if you don't intend on buying it, but then why wouldn't you? It's not as expensive as a lot of other games).

Definitely going to purchase it because I love it so much. I love the story. Already wishlisted. Even though I'll always play the Patreon version, supporting the dev is just the right thing to do (like with CoBD, AL, SL and a few others)Avalon is now on Steam; you can really help out the dev by putting the game on your wishlist (even if you don't intend on buying it, but then why wouldn't you? It's not as expensive as a lot of other games).

So is there a canon route to this I should be aware of? I tried out Penny For Your Thoughts, and someone mentioned to give Avalon a try to get a bit of backstory. So I figured why not? So far, I'm absolutely loving it. The Dynamic between Byron and Avalon is great.
But I'm curious if there is a canon route before I get too far into things. I went with Octavia since it said it was more story driven, which I definitely am interested in more. Figured the more story driven path would be the canon path. But now I've reached the other choice for either mono or poly. Is there a canon choice with that, or does it not matter either way? I don't mind going down either path, as poly doesn't bother me, just want to see if one path is the canon path or if it doesn't really matter on that choice.
Just want things to be accurate is all for when I continue on with Penny For Your Thoughts. Thanks.

So I would think Byron/Avalon monogamy is canon. I can't see them getting together after all they've been through then allowing a 3rd party into their relationship.

The canon route for Penny is her and Octavia broke up before the events of Avalon.
In PFYT she mentioned they split up quite a while back, no mention of them retrying during Avalon's arc so if they got back together in your game that isn't canon to PFYT.
She's single up until she gets with Leah.

Agreed that's what I have heard in the PFYT thread. Anyway I hope that game gets as interesting as this. I'll wait a while before I play it but it's on my radar. Haven't touched this game in a while but now that I've been talking about it (and created the first thread on the Steam forums once it was announced for that platform) I'll probably run through it tomorrow.
Still is an emotional game to play.

Yeah, I went the monogamous route with Byron/Avalon. I felt kinda bad for Leah but glad to see she ended up with Penny(in PFYT).

Just finished this game and I really did enjoy it. I did the Dallas poly option because Dallas was so hot that she was one of the main reasons I started it in the first place. I do think the relationships were too rushed to be realistic. It was basically like an On/Off switch as apposed to casual buildup, but I guess that did allow you to get to the "fun" parts sooner. The game was filled with jokes as well. A few made me bust out laughing, while others made my jaw drop in shock. That made things entertaining. There were even some pretty emotional scenes in the game that can bring a tear to a grown man's eye. The final sex scene with Avalon and Dallas was Amazing!! Oh, and the Bonus Act was a real surprise that I wasn't expecting. I really got to explore the whole "What If" story and it was very enjoyable.
All in all, a great game. I really enjoyed it. I do wish there were more acts/episodes to keep the story going. I was not expecting it to end where it did. I thought there would have been at least one more act to the main story. I know there is a spinoff with Penny, but I didn't find her that sexually appealing personally. I might still check it out, especially if more of the Avalon characters make an appearance in it. It looks like Penny and Leah are together from the screenshots I saw. Not really sure how I feel about that after playing the Bonus Act from Avalon. I know it was an alternate timeline, but I feel like Leah, Avalon and Dallas are mine now. So get your own girl Penny!! lol

I have to remind you that you told me this when i asked if Penny for yout thoughts was going to be Female Protagonist.
That sentence was true back then, i guess there is a first time for dissapointing
