The variables that apply to Christine areWhat is Christine console code?
Did you mean can't get past the dinner?for some reason i can get past the dinner with mr.silver
Guys I'm sorry, but I think you are losing the point here. I'll try to explain one last time.It isn't just about control. Like I said her actions don't make logical sense based on how she has been written upto this point maybe Jessica who is admitted whore would take a job like that no questions asked but that is because she is a well a whore who has no problems sleeping her way to a job.
Christine is supposed to be reasonably intelligent. Why would she not question the offer. Why not ask the MC what he knows of Silver. The fact she does none of those things and actually acts indignant when MC questions Silvers motives someone who knows him much better means to me she never really trusted the MC or valued his opinion. It also makes me not really care what happens to her story wise moving forward.
I think they should be labeled appropriately, that is all.Jesus, this NTR/cuckold/whatever paranoia is getting out of hand. If this continues, the only games left in a couple of months will be harem games and it will be basically impossible to tell an interesting story.
@Jcj Please, please, tell the story you want to tell. Listen to feedback, yes, but don't let people here decide where your story is going.
i've already given a link where that stat is explained, read my previous post.Show me were it says 7%You must be registered to see the links.
First of all, Silver hasn't proved himself to be exactly subtle and the receptionist made those comments in full view of the daughter.Guys I'm sorry, but I think you are losing the point here. I'll try to explain one last time.
Yes, Christine has been shown too be pretty mature for her age right now... but that doesn't mean she is. She is an 18 year old, and as many 18yo she is unstable. Mature many times, yeah, but she also takes rash decisions. She already decided not to go to college, having a job. Remember that is her main dream, proving she is an independent woman even though she's still a girl, as citing her mom "she believes she can handle everything and that she doesn't need a college degree". So it is obvious she doesn't listen to those who know better than her. And that doesn't make her an idiot, or spoiled or anything, just a teenager who needs to find her own space and hasn't lived enough.
Saying that, I hope you understand better why she is mad in case uncle rejects her going with her (as she feels treated like a kid who is not trusted to go to important places) or if he denies her the job offer. It's not that she doesn't care about what his uncle, who obviously knows better, says. She actually really appreciates it, as he is giving the independence and trust she never had before. She is blinded by the job offer and the fact it is everything she's been looking for. So she's angry when, in just a comment and no explanation, you tell her she cannot take that job. It's just the moment he starts acting as her mother, she feels it's you who doesn't trust her and that she's at the she left once again, so she needs to leave.
About she not being intelligent enough to realise what's going on: Mr Silver knows his way around girls like that, that's why he approaches when Uncle is busy. He convinces her using kind words like "your uncle has done so much for me, offering you a job would be just repaying a favor", and OF COURSE she might sense there's something shady, but she trusts herself to be over it. After all, that's one of the aspects of people that age, overconfidence. She thinks she's going to take the opportunity and overcome any bad situation. After all, you are the ones contradicting the story: you know she is an intelligent young girl, yet you expect her to instantly fall for her boss? It might happen, of course, as in RL. But as in RL it would have to be because of the conjunction of many factors.
Anyway, hope this is settled. I'm not going to discuss something that's been widely explained and rejected. Of course you can always find a way to make that illogical (that's what happens with creating stories) but I'm not going to discuss if the situation could or could not happen. It is possible, and more importantly, it is the story you have. Hope you enjoy.
I rather they just spoiler tag the big walls of text. The world would be a better place if people learned to be concise and to articulate better, or to at least have the decency of adding a TL;DR
I really tried, but I see there's no way to reason with someone who's so afraid of a path not even there yet.First of all, Silver hasn't proved himself to be exactly subtle and the receptionist made those comments in full view of the daughter.
Also while she has proven to be independent she also has shown a wiliness to listen and seek the opinion of those close to her about situations she is not not sure of. Which is in part why she asked the MC opinion about being a journalist in the first place. It also shows she valued the opinion of her mother eventhough she ultimately disagreed with it because if she didn't she wouldn't have sought a 2nd opinion. I can sort of understand there being a friendship check there and I can even understand her taking the job anyways but she never even listened to him actually refused to do so. Which doesn't make sense. I think honestly the option should have been there to warn her about Silver have her listen and agree the first time he attempts to do something inappropriate quit.
Also more to the point if she's that easily seduced by someone like Silver I don't really have much of a use for her. I guess I should have paid more attention to the title babysitter. I never thought of it in that way but I guess it fits I actually knew a dude in RL who had his wife cheat on him and did many of the same things. Followed his wife around like a puppy and tried to prevent her from getting into situations where it may happen again. It was pathetic to watch. I have no interest in playing out his life story
But to get somewhat back on topic another reason why it also doesn't fit is she shows she is quick on the uptake with the black dude she knows almost immediately what his attentions are. It just doesn't fit with the character in my opinion but it's your game and you are free to do with the characters what you wish. I just wish you were clear on the NTR at the beginning because I have zero interest in these games especiously in many cases they have their characters act in totally unbelievable ways to accomplish NTR and I mean unbelievable even in the context of porn which isn't a high bar.
A-The-Hell-men!The world would be a better place if people learned to be concise and to articulate better, or to at least have the decency of adding a TL;DR
I'm sorry, in my country we talk a lot and I get excited sometimes... :coldsweat:The world would be a better place if people learned to be concise and to articulate better, or to at least have the decency of adding a TL;DR
I get excited too sometimesI'm sorry, in my country we talk a lot and I get excited sometimes... :coldsweat:
If the fact that I am replying to almost every comment regarding doubts about the game is not understanding enough... I don't know what is.@Jcj
you should be also a little bit more understanding since you are looking from a perspective where you know all the story and where will it end up but from a player's perspective 90% of the choices end up as ntr as of now. for the avarage joe it goes like wanna see a naked chick? too bad you just got cucked...same discussion is going for @Ptolemy and his games and i think it's not fair for devs to avoid using the ntr tags if it's in the game whether it's avoidable or not.
