There are many aspects of NTR that I just can't get my head round, some make skin crawl. That said proper sharing, agreed between the couple where they and not the outside party are in control and communicate and control the scenes and swinging again fully communicative is one of my kinks.
And I am sure there are some of other kinks that would make other's skin crawl, so please don't think I am judging, it just aint my thing.

Okay, I am not trying to stir the NTR pot here. This is a question about this game and I hope any replies are about this game. (Yes, that's wishful thinking, I know... we'll see how it goes).
Can someone please explain how this game actually contains any NTR content? Because to actually access any of the scenes where Christine has sexy-time with Silver or Robert, the player has to make a conscious choice not to pursue Christine romantically. So...
1) If NTR = the object of your affection being seduced away and/or having sexual contact with other men, and
2) The player has made a conscious choice to not pursue Christine as an object of his affection, then
3) Other men seducing Christine and/or having sex with her is not NTR, because the player has chosen not to make her an object of his affection.
What am I missing here?

I've made similar comments over preceding pages and there's been some solid arguments against, though not enough to change my position.
Re your spoiler, I've had that feeling with other games especially where you get cornered or it comes out of left field. I've got 'NTR' routes open specifically because I see it as an informed decision, what stops me playing them straight off is their attitude to women, what keeps me running them is the hope that MC grows a set and won't allow his niece or any woman be treated like that. IOW we get the chance to kick them into touch.
I loved Chris cos of her naivety and Jess cos there was something screaming for help which all came to light over the last few updates.
The common denominator? I wanna hug em and kiss em and

That's because NTR have been wrongly used to categorize Western games. People just don't actually understand NTR and think that any game in which a girls fucks with a dude that isn't the MC can be called NTR, even if the MC doesn't have any feelings for the girl and they aren't in a romantic relationship.
By the way, amazing update. My favorite from this game. I think the MC is the worst male character in the game, so I only play Silver's and Robert's routes and I must say that I was satisfied with what I saw.

Yea, those comments and replies were what prompted me to distill my argument into what I hope is a clear if-then syllogism... I will re-emphasize that I'm not poking the NTR embers here; I really am hoping to learn something.
This makes perfect sense. I do the same thing with some games, only I guess that if I get a sense that the tone of the game is one where the MC sees female nPCs essentially as sexual objects, it's easy for me to play it that way. Which is why:

I know what you mean by this! I didn't realize it specifically until you mentioned it, but in the first few versions the tone of the game is that the MC is a lying, manipulative douche, so I enjoyed played the game in a way that he pursues Jessica and leaves Christine to the whims of others because why fight the MC's character? I think that when @Burt Reynolds Mustache came on board as a writer, the tone changed, and that's when I replayed from the start with Christine as the focus, and really enjoyed it.
Maybe I'm uncommon in that I can enjoy playing a game with an immoral, depraved, sex-chasing MC as much as I can enjoy playing a game with a romantic, caring, protective MC. And I like games where you can play branches of either path. Just as long as I know which kind of game I'm playing from the beginning. As @kiteares mentioned, getting cornered or surprised or feeling set up isn't cool. And this game doesn't do that, at least IMO.

I love Chris for her growing love for the MC and as for Jess... yeah she's a pretender that's silently crying for help and I want to keep them both.

The whole NTR thing to me is kind of confusing. Lets say for instance the MC is pursuing a relationship with a female. Then that female decides to cheat behind the MC's back, with her boss for instance over a somewhat long period of time. Then lets say the MC eventually finds out about the affair because he spied on her one time and saw them doing the act. At that time, the MC can choose to either try to win her back, or dump her and plot revenge. To me, this adds a lot of emotional impact to a game by A) seeing the female with another man and B) taking in the consideration of the MC's feelings. When a game's MC doesn't care if his girl is banging someone else, I'm like whatever. But if a game throws in a surprise curve to turn it into a emotional roller coaster, behind the back, cheating soap opera, I'm all for it. Not sure if that is considered "NTR" or not, especially if the MC gets some well deserved revenge in the end.
