I didn't realize it specifically until you mentioned it, but in the first few versions the tone of the game is that the MC is a lying, manipulative douche, so I enjoyed played the game in a way that he pursues Jessica and leaves Christine to the whims of others because why fight the MC's character? I think that when
@Burt Reynolds Mustache came on board as a writer, the tone changed, and that's when I replayed from the start with Christine as the focus, and really enjoyed it.
Maybe I'm uncommon in that I can
enjoy playing a game with an immoral, depraved, sex-chasing MC as much as I can enjoy playing a game with a romantic, caring, protective MC. And I like games where you can play branches of either path. Just as long as I know which kind of game I'm playing from the beginning. As
@kiteares mentioned, getting cornered or surprised or feeling set up isn't cool. And this game doesn't do that, at least IMO.

The problem as i said is... that if you do not like play incest game you cant see him differently.
Almost all incest game give the sensation that the mc is like a pervert, because wtf he wanna fuck his family? So you look him automatic in pervert, bastard mode.
Try to look him as a normal guy who for some mistery of the life he fall in love with a girls/women and that waman is for example his mother. Try to understand how a guy can fell about felling like that.
Is for that, that after you replay the game better you can fell better the intere plot, because for the first time you identify yourself with the MC! So ofc you fell disgusted after you see Silver and the other Man.
But the real problem is... and i need to quote other two message:
The whole NTR thing to me is kind of confusing. Lets say for instance the MC is pursuing a relationship with a female. Then that female decides to cheat behind the MC's back, with her boss for instance over a somewhat long period of time. Then lets say the MC eventually finds out about the affair because he spied on her one time and saw them doing the act. At that time, the MC can choose to either try to win her back, or dump her and plot revenge. To me, this adds a lot of emotional impact to a game by A) seeing the female with another man and B) taking in the consideration of the MC's feelings. When a game's MC doesn't care if his girl is banging someone else, I'm like whatever. But if a game throws in a surprise curve to turn it into a emotional roller coaster, behind the back, cheating soap opera, I'm all for it. Not sure if that is considered "NTR" or not, especially if the MC gets some well deserved revenge in the end.
Then the girl turns to love the MC a lot more after realizing her mistakes... including the desire to make it up to him. hmmm quite dramatic and nice too. The blemish done is still quite saddening though if not painful.
