That screen went away about three versions ago, so I don't know why Freezewood is still complaining about it...
Not so much infiltration attempts, as some of the file-hosting services pulling shady shenanigans like throwing up pop-up windows with extra "download" buttons on them to try to fool you into downloading some Trojan-horse program onto your system. I got tired of people downloading that crap and then immediately coming in here to complain that "macafee says your energy.exe game has a virus in it and I ran it and now something's wrong with my computer and the game didn't even play", et cetera.
I figure this way, you have fair warning, and all the information you should need to be able to confirm that what you downloaded
is, in fact, the right file. Anyone who insists on ignoring it and running whatever random file they get from clicking the big shiny button on the first pop-up window they see, well... that's on them.
Frankly, I'm kind of amazed more game devs and uploaders here
don't provide this. Hell, I'm surprised F95 doesn't
require it, considering their reliance on 3rd-party file-sharing services they have no control over...
