I've only recently come across this game, but I think it's pretty good. I understand there has been past drama but the guy did post a new version is under development 2 weeks ago, and he missed his projected date by a day and people are called for it to be marked abandoned and on-hold.

Game HAD promise. however the author has been misleading folks for 6+ months. He only recently posted about an update when he started losing patrons like crazy. You can put two and two together regarding why he made that post and promised an update, which is guaranteed to be a). Buggy, b). Short, c). A Stand-alone and nothing to do with the main story, and d). there will be no update for another 6+ months.
It is time to put this one to pasture.
Get your facts straight and buckle up, my benighted friend... you're in for a hell of a ride.

I don't give a shit about money but I love the concept and gameplay. We need some Graphics skills, I could take the scenario and learn RenPy programation. Or maybe someone wanna take over and take the 1000$ montly going with it.
I just wanna this game done and Rainces showed us he's not the one.

By the end of the month we're getting a "sorry guys, I had some important stuff to do... I just need a couple weeks more to wrap things up"... that and a couple new renders that he just fixed, maybe during breakfast (or while downloading some porn, idk)
Suddenly, his decreasing patreon earnings freeze (possibly for yet another month), this time maybe around 650 $
He comes back home at night, checks it out thinking "650 huh? that's still pretty good"... goes to the kitchen, grabs a cup of coffee, opens his browser, types "f95zone.to", hits ENTER... has his daily dose of laughs and satisfaction, and tucks in... like a well-fed baby RAinces
But before falling asleep he has one last honest thought, painted with a rested smile:
"man... this feels good"
