how you are gonna handled this "but you are my brother/son" issue with landlady/roommate? If you are just raplacing thier name with brother/son, this shit is disgusting and useless :S You have to write two different dialogues for these characters. You can play Kindread: The Redburns, inkalicious did this real good.

I do like love it when the dialogue makes more than a token reference to the incest. There's a lot of games where it's not really clear, even after the patch, that something incestual is going on because the dialogue is just changing a few words here and there. You won't see a sentence like "you can't cum in me... you're my brother", because it wouldn't make any sense in the non-incestual version of it where brother is replaced with "tenant" or something like that.

For me, the taboo factor needs to be frequently acknowledged, even if that level of referencing would never happen in real life. Then again, lots of adult media is full of dialogue that never happens in real life. Porn isn't meant to simulate reality, but rather stimulate us by catering to kinks and ideas that really excite us.

That being said, I understand that a lot of devs don't really have the time to write two different sets of dialogue for the "default" game and the taboo versions. But I really do appreciate the devs and games that do.

Corambis, I agree with you, and from myself I will add a little. Many authors don't write taboo stories either because they are lazy or don't have time. They do not write because they are not "in the subject". They cannot convey in text what they themselves have not experienced or felt. After all, intra-family love relationships are a special world. He's thin and vulnerable. He is always on the verge of a foul and often crosses that line. In these relationships, one careless gesture, a careless word can lead to tragedy. Therefore, to convey all the subtleties of such relationships in a game, book, or movie is aerobatics.

Kindread: The Redburns not have a complete two different diologue but in here in there we can see something really good. We do not have too much game like this i'm afraid, so if you have some guys we do not know, please share with us

Tbh, I don't really know how far Patreon goes when tagging a game w/ incest (and naturally, I'm diving into this expecting to make some money)
But I agree w/ Corambis' take on it, 100%
Doing it the way Rey suggested would be the perfect and safest approach, but it does sound a little exhausting

And the story that I thought about kind suits it, I think (I'll explain)... and I hope the incest within ain't gonna be that obvious, on paper... obvious enough to trigger Patreon's police...
On paper, it kinda goes like this: your mom is not going to be your real mom, and her daughters are not going to be your sisters - she's your late father's widow, but she was never really a stepmom to you - you grew up living in the city, w/ your real mom (who's long gone), and to you, dad's new wife was nothing but your dad's new wife (who already had two kids when she married him, so you're not related)... that's it

But here's the trick, there's a lot more to it than that though that's the whole exposition you'll get... while playing, dialogues and all are going to uncover, real fast, how did your character grow up w/ these girls who lived under your father's roof, how did you relate one to each other while you were young, rarely seeing each other, but close nonetheless, and I want to quickly give the player the sensation that these girls and you, treat each like brother and sisters (each on her own way - one has your age and married, and the other is quite younger), and that you dad's widow do see you as the son that she always wanted but didn't get to raise, but this, this is her chance to finally get to you better, and relate to you

It seems a lot, I know, but I guarantee that you won't even need to ask me to have you calling them by mom or sisters - day 1 (the intro) is already scripted, and rest assured that the intro alone will have you feeling like these girls are family to you - initially, it'll exposition who they are and how you don't refer to each other as actual siblings, only to actually demonstrate a sweet but undeveloped fraternal relationship between you the moment you meet - that will develop as you go down their story, but not as traditionally as one might expect

And, as the game is NOT going to be build upon this - it's a harem sandbox, and every girl has her story (but the stories of the girls you live with will naturally unfold considering the life story you share, and the bond you never had the chance to build) - I hope I can avoid inflicting Patreon's rules w/ it

Incest is a very different thing in my book. Incest is equals to very very very low chance of sex. It is disgusting and shameful(not for us ). And these exited me most. If she is not really your mother/sister, in corner of your mind you know you can have sex with them with little to none issue. They(girls) will know that too. This turn of my excitement :S I'm not a incest guy in my normal life, i know 95 percent of incest story lovers like that, we love incest story cuz it is a REAL forbidden fruit.

Hey Summmerp, I am waiting for your game, because of BBS, I have noticed that in Patreon RAinces still gets some duck to play his stewardship, I think like this: Patreon should be responsible for having in his group something giving strokes to his fans, if Patreon receives a percentage of that raises, Patreon and accomplice of RAinces, therefore, should be held responsible, I think ...
