Though I did get a couple of errors while running that version. I just wound up downloading the uncompressed version and it seemed to run with fewer problems.
Been waiting for a game where you can be a true bastard.

Then I'll probably have to download the original version of the game if there are problems with the compressed one. Tnx for the warning

There will be a point where it will definitely tell you that it is the end of the demo, and give you a series of renders showing previews for the full update. So you might be missing something to continue.

At some point I got so annoyed with replaying BBS with all the stupid gameplay it has that I just went into the code and removed anything that created repeats (stat grinds, money grinds, minigames, same scenes for no reason). Whilst I was doing this I got so annoyed at having to look at that stupid text and textbox that I put in a new one that as actually readable and looked decent. As I was messing around with the textbox I got so annoyed at reading the STUPID ASS english that is not only not spell checked it is also grammatically horrible and full of typos that I went ahead and spent 5 days of my spare time correcting all of the english and removing all of them exclamation points that appear everywhere for no reason.
One day after this, I kid you not, the freaking nvme drive it was on died. I still have it and turn it on once a month to see if I can get it to work but so far I haven't had any luck.
All of this to say that, I cannot believe that after some 10 different people have been working on this silly game, that we still have the most broken english ass script in the history of porn gaming that any google docs or microsoft word would easily highlight and correct like:
"What is her relation with you? (the default is landord)"
"I better throwh the garbage! befor it'll start stiinkin my room!"
"I'm sorry Mr.Jonnes... I promise I'll put this on your dask firest thing tomorrow'"

One of the fun parts about picking apart and exploring games through the files is you can immediately tell who the lazy devs are and who the hard working ones are.
There's a lot of webcam stuff with Liza that you need to repeat a few times. You may need to also do phone stuff with Liza at night multiple times as well. If you haven't that may be the issue. A good rule for BBS is to keep repeating the same things over and over again until something changes. The demo will give you a definite "this demo is over" message followed by previews of the real update at the end.
Can anyone fill in the Blanks. This game has been dead for what 3-4 years and now theres a Demo?

It's an interface redo, with like one or two "meh" scenes. The interface "fix" is not much of an improvement. I'm guessing the dev lost enough Patrons to try a reboot. Not worth the download, IMHO. I'd recommend waiting until the dev shows a commitment to delivering regular updates. I'm not optimistic.
If you have not played the game before, it had promise before the dev dropped out. It was good, not great. It does not come close to today's top level games though.
Guy works on game for 4 years. Main Character never even progresses to "consensual handjob" stage with any of the primary love interests(i.e., his "roommates" and his "landlady"). Several different people try to redo the game, which efforts still bog down at the "progress the fucking plot already" stage.
It doesn't even need to be consensual, this was never a consent game really... It should be something at least though.
