if he goes for the alternative patreon road he should use it for a legit alternative project. that worked for the Dating my Daughter dev or The Manor one. but at this point that seems... unlikely. that misteryous gamedev with nothing to show for was never gonna fly. he wasn't making that much anyway, maybe it's a loss for morale but not for the pocket.
since realistically he can't maintain two projects, he should: 1) boost his subcribestar. for starters being more present online, here and in discord.
2) maybe try a steam release? wincest and non consenual sex aren't a problem there. problems will be Bobby being shota-ish and his little sister being almost loli

People are just hoping that he will continue updating the game. If his support drops to 0 he would completely abandon the project even if he has free time and a working patreon account.

You fail to understand how patreon works. People support creators to encourage them to continue working on a project. People support Rainces hoping that he continues working on the game. It's really not that complicated.
