Is this actually a harem game, glanced through the comments, and they weren't really clear.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's a game that's designed to be played more than once. I can't quite remember what the dev's goals are long-term regarding the relationship exclusivity of LIs, but so far you can form relationships with as many or as little characters as your heart desires. The only real limits are that some decisions you make will either delay or entirely cut off your ability to interact with a particular LI (hence, replayability in mind, "choices matter" etc.). If this bothers you, the only thing I can recommend is to try the walkthrough, URM (universal ren'py mod), and make saves on the relevant branching points. I'm not usually a fan of games that limit your LIs in this way, but this game's definitely worth it imo so you should give it a try to see

Eh, well...i honestly don't care for most of the girls, so yeah.
So far the ones i like are the 'maid' and her lil sister, Bella seems interesting and still waiting until the little sis is coming, curios when she will finaly appear...

There are some planned one LI routes. You will have to decide do I follow LI XYZ to California or Davoria or whatever with an ending that is appropriate but will possibly end my game.

There are some multiple LI route(s) "Harem Routes" planned, but not all LI will be in these routes.

The girls of Lake City have their own lives, career goals and motivations. Some will want to move away from Lake City all together for career goals, family, etc., will you go along? Others just won't be interested in your depravity. While, others will be down to clown.

Best example I can give right now with out spoiling story, is Janice. Janice will not be a harem route. But I do have a Janice only ending. More will become clearer with this update around Gena/Kori I think and how some LI will be tackled.

If you are interested in Harem, I would recommend not turning down girls pictured in the Banner, generally speaking.

In short I have endings envisioned that are individual and some multiple LIs (Harem). Probably mudding the water but that's the best I can describe it. I mean it's literally our first game ever, who knows, maybe it all goes down in flames.

*Some girls are based on IRL and in some cases those stories are already written...sadly, career choices, missed signals, stupid arguments etc.

In my head right now, no. I currently envision different "Harem" endings. Meaning differing combos. That's the plan. Can we pull it off? Let's find out!

-Over under how long from the time the game leaks that we get the first comment along the lines of, "that was short" or "that's it for X months!?!" I'm going to say third comment...15 mins.

-I worked my IRL job all week busting my ass and in my limited free time I worked on the NEXT update after this one. I get the Beta version a few days ago for this update and discover there are errors.

That meant I had to wake up on my one of two days off from IRL work, tell my wife and friends I was busy and spent my Saturday morning squashing bugs. Now, if it was you, is that how you'd like to spend your Saturday after a long work week? Me either. But I did it and do it.

I'm a real person doing the best I can to drain your balls of high grade baby making juice. I'm trying to make sure you don't go out with a full sack on any given night and impregnate the wrong chick who takes 1/2 your money five years from now (you're welcome by the way).

-So many of you have been beyond supportive on here the last...weeks, months however long and I can't tell you how much that motivates me personally to push thru tough times. This was BY FAR the most difficult update from a technical standpoint. I'm not sure we get there without you guys just leaving supportive comments on here and elsewhere.

I got a DM this morning from a fan that was very kind. When I woke up this morning I was fucking bummed to have to work on QC. But the msg he/she left really gave me the morale boost I needed. Financial support is awesome but a kind fucking word often times gets me in the mood to write, do art or push thru laborious shit.

-Please don't forget the Patrons who do support the game financially and give them a shout out here or on Discord. Honest to God you think my wife would let me spend this kind of time in my basement if we had no financial support?!? These folks make it fucking happen. On Discord, the supporters are some of the nicest fucking people. They deserve your thanks and ours. Much respect.

-Also, a quick thanks to NeonGhosts who continues to be a supporter and a fellow developer/friend I can lean on with ideas and just as a sounding board. thanks homie.

I'm probably thinking too much & misunderstood. Keeping the current fake-harem structure of the game & branching off late, near the endings, should provide a efficient way to make the routes not too exclusive.

(Basically, you only branch near the end. Taking Janice as example, saying yes to janice doesn't affect other routes currently. This can continue until it's near the janice ending, so players can just save, play through the janice ending, & then load back to that point & continue. )
Fake harem as in the games don't actually have a harem but allows you to stay on every girls route almost the whole game, letting you see everything without too much save-scumming or skip-scumming.
Idk if this is the plan. Talking about endings doesn't actually say when the routes would branch, i.e. how much exclusive routes content would be present.
Guess we will see.

I'm going to guess that's the woman sitting with her friend in the break room when Rob is chatting with the MC. (The friend kept saying "Hrmmm...." and interrupting the conversation.) They at least look reasonably similar, but I'm obviously not totally sure.

I don't remember seeing a definitive answer on this. My wild guess would be yes, maybe just for another brief sexual encounter (or maybe a chewing out, I suppose). But I don't think she'll ever be any major LI in the game.

Considering she is in the banner, I'd guess she's supposed to be a major character. Why put a side/filler/unimportant character there? Banners are supposed to show the main characters, imo.

Yeah, IDK. She was there during the initial release, but there have been characters since with far more screen time (Gina and Kori, for example) who do not appear in the banner, so I'm not sure we can assume based on that.

College girl will be back someday. Can a game have too many red heads? If so we might be reaching max capacity. Emma in the wheelchair is different from the girl in the banner. The girl in the banner pops up on D-11 update (which by the way is written and about 1/2 done and will follow the D-10 update we are currently smushing bugs on).

Nice banner! The previous one looked great ofc, but this one certainly feels more vibrant; I guess you saturated the colors a little? It's really nice Pablo Your game does such a perfect job pulling off slice-of-life without getting boring, just good vibes, and the banner gives off a warmer, cozier feeling which I think matches perfectly! (well, maybe not for the evil fuckboi route )

Glad to see Gena, Kori, and our local phat gas station lady that I'm looking forward to (sorry I'm bad with names ) made the gallery cut!

Just FYI, in games with multiple routes per girl, pregnancy is usually reserved for the tail end of the game because it compounds the workload on the author by a lot, so be careful about getting too excited It's very possible she got an abortion or that MC's swimmers simply just failed to cross the v-ocean... happens all the time, actually; it's something that may surprise many people who've never tried to conceive before (like me, since I just googled it ). I think maybe since pregnancy is so often used as a tool for drama by writers, whether movies, tv, books, games, and so on, and we're warned about unsafe sex or sex before marriage etc. by parents and teachers etc., people just sort of assume pregnancy is guaranteed without a condom (not that a ~1 in 5 chance is nothing). So, anyways, it'd be pretty easy for the dev to explain away.
