I'm not sure too.Is this actually a harem game, glanced through the comments, and they weren't really clear.
So far you can be on all the girls routes with no exclusivity.
There are exclusivity in events, but the genabooty call event repeats for 2 days so I think that might be so players who say no to the other girls don't have an empty night.
Similarly, the kori sex scene is only got if you didn't progress on the Abby route. However you can still be on her(kori) route by choosing the correct choice earlier. However looking at the text, the next day scene with kori might be similarly dependent on sating yes/no to hannah.
Kori will probably similar to genna in that her scene will be a repeating alternative to the other girls events for those who say no.
Basically, get genna/kori scenes if you don't say yes to the girl who has an event that day
This is the only reason I'm following the game to be honest. I don't follow games & just return after a few years to a lot of content, but I'm curious about the structuring of the game & if kori events will be a similar repeating event to the genabootycall
However, with the number of girls already introduced, I think the game has no choice but to go harem at this point. In non-harem exclusive route games you want to limit the girls/routes to around 3-5 on average.
With all the girls having rom/dark routes, there is already a lot of work. Now if it decides to go 'only one girlfriend/relationship' too, I sudder to think the work needed per update relative to it's size: make 8 events but players only see 1. (This is kinda what I wanted to advise on my 1st post here, but that led to the whole replayability bit.)
Not to mention the dev doesn't have the time for that from his post above.
But I understand the wish to keep complex choices with consequences. That makes a game feel very real. Which is why I've been suggesting inclusive choices that actually increase complexity & number of outcomes. Like I had suggested before, the inclusive version of abby/kori choice would actually increase the option from "kori or abby" to "kori or abby or kori&abby", while also bringing stats like charm into consideration.
Anyway, harem games are also of 2 types: real & fake. Real harem games focus on building a proper harem. Fake harem games don't actually focus on actually building a harem, but are harem games by virtue of not restricting the amount of girls you can romance - like a dating sim where you can date multiple ppl.
BoB looks like the 2nd type rn, but I can see a harem happening, especially on the dark routes.
Let's see if the dev provides any clarification how he wants to approach this.
