Its a shame game had so much potential … He should have never made a remake … should have sticked with the original game...

And the wait time between updates is crazy as well specially since we need to wait for a English translation of the game as well..

I liked the game a lot but I can see the reason why he don't have much patreons.... Shame really im sure will be abandonded soon caus don't see it getting better quick

This. I loved the original game but as you mentioned the wait is killer, the translation seem to take forever as well as the story progression.

Whoever posted this, took the unfinished, and only half translated version that was still being worked on by us. Yes, us. I am the head of the translation team for Leocid2 and have already asked nicely, and when refused, demanded as team liason to have this UNFINISHED version of 1.6 removed, so as to be replaced when it is done. The site has refused, so a message from us to the team on site here.
The person who posted this is a thief, and a rather stupid one at that.
The finished version will never be posted here, it was going to be, but now? The site managers have allowed the unfinished version of an update to be posted, which in turn causes negative commentary. Are y'all TRYING to kill this game?

Honestly, and I do say it with your best interests at heart, if this game ends up dead it's because of the dozen revamps and nonsensical mechanisms introduced each time. Not because of a handful of negative comments.

The game is still personally one of the most anticipated, but the track record so far makes it hard to sustain support (let alone get new ones).

yeah the revamping of this game killed any major support it could have gotten... I am only negative caus i am disapointed it had the potential to be a great game...

But delays and long waiting times and little bits of content even after long waiting makes it hard to enjoy anymore

The models are nice and i do enjoy the story .... But i dont see many supporting this game anymore after so much mishap

Hey guys just giving my two cents as well. yeah I understand if you guys are complaining. I'm a patreon supporter and he's been constantly communicating with us on things that's been happening. I think you guys should just remember these events and info:

• Leocid2 revamped the game because he had a new vision to the game and wanted to implement more things so it can be a more robust game
• The process for each update in the new game was:
  • the release of the spanish version
  • and then a group of independent translators were down to translate it to english for us english users (Thank you translators for your time!).
• Each update had a bunch of bugs and problems due to just how bad renpy is and so Leocid wanted to see if UNITY would be an option to help speed the process
• Lecid2 worked on the UNITY for some time and showed a demo
• People didn't like UNITY so we stuck with renpy (I wish we did UNITY because like people in this forum there are always a ton of bugs in renpy. WISH WE DID UNITY)
• Leocid2 split the 1.6 update into three parts and is looking to release the second update soon.

I do think Leocid2 has a great game here and he's working on it so for those who are just checking it out give it a few months. I know its' been a loong time but yeah tbh i'm just glad that's he's always communicated with us and worked hard on making a good game so please take these things into account.

Yeah such a great game. . . Nothing new since forever ago, just re-ads the old stuff into the new version slowly with dumb mechanics no one wants. And when people warned him that people didn't want awful fighting mechanics, slow and tedious navigation, and now a remake that goes nowhere, he tells people if they don't like it don't play. Such a great dev.

Pretty sure Leocid2 is trying to kill this game, 7 months update and there's like 1 month of actual work in it, no progress to the story and added dumb mechanics. Game should've been abandoned long ago.

Bugs/problems in RenPy are almost never problems of the framework itself, but more about lack of understanding/experience on how it works.
Imho, he could reach out for help (dunno if he did or not) instead of just trying to migrate on an entirely different framework. I'm sure there are loads of people willing and able to help.

Tons of people worked for free on porn games in the pre-Patreon era, and many still do. Much like the translation team he has I assume.
It's like saying people won't contribute to open-source programs. Most do it because they enjoy it.

As for reliability, true, it's a gamble. But it always has been and the risk is pretty much non-existent.
