Yeah I gave up on Superpowered almost immediately. An absurd amount of microscopic detail that led absolutely nowhere, and unlike Bastard Girls, where the girls and renders are hot, the ones in that game absolutely are not. So there's not even anything to work towards as a reward.

This "game" is just one sad self-inserter powertrip, I endured 6 minutes of this slop, and even if it was free I feel scammed.
Serial Comics is another dev that does this. I honestly don't understand devs that are like this. They completely destroy any chance their game has with a wider following and making more cash by turn8ng people away with a grindfest. I always abandon every game like that and just rip the CG.

It's has been a problem even before he halted production and believe it or not the original had next to no grinding while this one had to be moded or the dev had to literally patch the rpg mechanics to be more forgiving (good luck with the fights with random dodge and small hit boxes)

I agree (and I'm still writing the full script for the kinetic novel and I'm using Godot dialogic which means I need to get models and render images but I honestly need to get a powerful laptop or build a proper pc for the quality and something that won't take 7 hours to render a 4k image) and outside of writing a good/decent story I think it's because abandoned good games like this make it impossible for milkers to exploit and people who expect supporters without proving themselves which is a good thing

Seriously, do you still believe in this nonsense that the old work cannot be restored? It seems to me more that he simply fooled everyone and decided to make a new grind game mansion of lust. After the unity version failed and more and more people approached the mansion that was in the previous part of BG, he already hinted at a new project mansion of lust, but then they did not attach any importance to it.

Still disappointing and I actually asked about lore stuff (I obviously couldn't ask for the script and have a commission dev make it and finish the game) but it's still better than the de Luca family being abandoned and everyone is told that it's still going on despite it being five years (give or take it's been very long though) and the only thing that happened is it getting released on steam

You can read the long discussion we have for the depth, but long story short - it seems like the dev was absolutely determined to make a really grindy combat game with a complicated story, that featured some porn as a teaser to get people into it. Instead of a hot porn game that featured the other stuff as a side aspect.
