No issues with paladin from my experience
Chapter 1
- As a paladin we don't need daybreak besides for the agility buff that can be useful in the 1st chapter until we get some stats, still 1 cast is more than enough per battle if agility is to low.
- Breaking enemy armour in chapter 1 and as a paladin is pointless, smite ignores armour and scales with strength and willpower, meaning i end up doing good damage without smite before progressing to goblin nest, the only exception can be the Troll but after figuring out the game there is no issue there.
- Judgment was the big bread earner the condition to receive an enemy normal attack was odd, still with a bit more mana than smite, does damage and buys us 2 turns extending our offensive turns without worrying about defense or enemy buffing themselves to oblivion (might be wise to cap those buffs kinda stupid reaching the point of doing no damage).
- Rogues don't have the same agility deficiency and quickly reach the stage where 2 hits are enough to execute enemies.
- Warriors couldn't be more straight forward, still like paladins the initial agility upgrade is required and from that point on it's a joy ride.
Besides Chapter 1 there weren't any progress issues, well i still had to figure out the class perks and play-style but it's quite straight forward for all of them, side quests were interesting and i respect the different outcomes available, the solutions weren't that hard to figure out.
Things that could be improved
- Farming was a bit underwhelming (no drops) as well the lack of chance encounters (i admit to have been looking for a 2nd date with the goblin girl); still it is quite adequate for the setting.
- Being able to compare equipment when purchasing could be useful for newbies, since they will most likely ignore effects from armour and weapons until they start noticing some equipment has some quite useful effects as well as some upgrades not being required.
- the action UI, i don't really enjoy having to scroll down to see the available actions and in combat just makes it an awkward experience to someone that played C.o.C. like me.
- Capping some enemy and ally buffs could maybe prevent the infinity battles that some are mentioning; an approach like buffs can only stack up to 2 or 3 times could be a comprehensible solution.
- minor detail the sword from the ghost prisoner in the Elven tower it's effect seems kinda void, i couldn't figure out a way by chapter 2 of using that effect, and later on the Elven daggers end up being a better choice with the agility increment per turn.
new game+ isn't working right?
cause after the end i couldn't start a new game+ (was a bit of a let down cause i was looking forward for the advantage to see how easy it could get, to explore some side scenarios from a fresh save)
Overall it's a solid experience.
Edit, since this was the answer i was looking for not cheats:
The "New Game+" is by replacing the game default title after your charname with the one it gives you. Too bad Naya's both "strictly dickly" and sizequeen... if there were some way to turn both her and MC futa, it might be an interesting expansion pack trying to rebuild her kingdom and repopulate her people, or form a throuple with Scyllia.
