Love what we've got so far, but I really hope Julia makes it. Her death really doesn't feel necessary, it'd just be death for death's sake. I don't think we'd having enough time for any meaningful depression arc. I think Julia getting shot was just shock factor for the sake of cliffhangers... Hopefully.
