When Chipote posted the update I really wanted to wait for any comment after playing it and after Christmas, so I would not ruin the joyful event but...

David simply moved the wedding vision after the ending.
So now you can see it if you
- don't use the Voice to fuck Jessica
- have the boobjob, handjob in the pool and hug scenes
- after the hug agree with her to marry Irulan.

Some dialogue changed, being more allusive to a future relationship with Jessica, but when you have the vision, she simply says that who knows what can happen in the future, that she would not exclude marriage if there is love involved... and then if you ask her (ASK, mind you, like "can you please ride me", since at this point you don't have the Voice options with her anymore) she STILL get pissed and sends you away using the Voice.

If you insist you can get blowjobs or have sex, but Jessica acts exactly like when you use the Voice (cries, tell you to not do it again, etc...). Nothing changed, nothing else was added. At least it seems that you can't trigger the biting ending...

Would it have been so hard to add a couple lines of code and have her tell "I love you Paul" instead? No, David had to remind us that he doesn't like this specific ending.

So I decided I will not comment his work on this thread anymore, except for game questions from other players. Not worth the effort.

No, it's still some stupid vision of a possible future. When you tell her you want to marry her she still hugs you, only now she states that for political reasons he cannot but when he's emperor he'll be able to come for her. The vision only happens after the end of the game as well. I think he changed it because his original version wasn't really positively received.

Not to be that guy again, but calling this a win is streching it a lot.
Don't know about you, but when I first laid eyes on this game 4 years ago (on its very first content release, mind you, when it only had a couple of dialogues with Jessica and her titjob if memory serves me right) I didn't think "wow, this game looks great, perhaps in future versions we can get the mom of the MC to reclutantly fuck the MC due to brainwashing (and having a visual representation of her crying because of it, no fucking less) and calling the MC a monster for it" or "perhaps in the future we can get a lot of teasing scenes between the MC and his mom that eventually lead to a vision of a possible future when they end up together without actually doing anything". No, what I wanted (and I'm certain that is what most of us wanted) was a "route" between the MC and his mom, where they eventually fuck their brains out and live a happy and fulfilling sexual and romantic relationship. This ain't it chief.
It's fucking sad that after 4 fucking years the closest thing we have to an actual, worthy path with Jessica is a mod with subpar visuals and mechanics made by an amateur (yes, of course I'm talking about my mod, but let's be realistic it's the damn truth).

This isn't a victory, Jessica fans. It's a truce with several casualties at best.

Yup, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. I was hoping to wake up to a solid Jessica ending only to be blue-balled by David yet again. At this point Duncan will probably get a Jessica ending before Paul ever does. Honestly speaking David has great art , i think we all appreciate that. So he should really just come out and say he won't deliver the incest ending and just make bunch of Jessica animations with random dudes. I am over the story to be honest but i would rather have Jessica scenes than worms getting into Fremen ass and shit coming out all over.

Anyways i will try his new game i hope it will be more similar to Dune rather than Vega Hunters gameplay wise. But yeah Jessica-bros i will not be fooled again into believing French Santa. I AM DONE.

Came across a bug that doesnt allow me to select certain dialogue options, namely at the very start when told to use the "Box". I click the option to use it but nothing happens. Ive tried the exe and swf, anyone know a fix?

Don't know how reliable it is or even if it works. You could just use cheat mode to see all scenes.

But anyway, this is the location where Flash saves its persistent stuff per system:

In my system it looks like this:
...\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\[FOLDER]\localhost\Folders\With\Dune-V2.28.exe\DuneV2-22.sol

So my suggestion is: backup your .SOL file, then when you want to restore it -> play the game again so that Flash creates a brand new .SOL file, then replace that new .SOL file with the one from your backup -- this way you don't have to guess all those internal folders that it creates, just keep the .SOL file.

It's inside one of the underground locations, further inside than just that first room with the locked door and the Freemen girl. When you see the lake, talk to Jessica and one of the sensitive topics is to ask for a swim.

Look for any sietch with a metal door, behind it there is a water pool. While there talk with Jessica and among "sensitive matters" you will find an option to go for a swim. Do it and then when Jessica asks if you are horny, say yes. This will get you the handjob scene.

no actually if you go to the adobe website they're a FAQ... long story short after the 31 december:

1) All flash payer ( no matters the version) sil cease to work

2) due to 1, the adobe program will ask you to desinstall the program on your computer ( PC, inux and Mac +...) if you don't the program will do it after the 31

3) since flash will cease to work at the 31 , you can't (already( that way i can't play Dune on my mac ) download any version on the adobe web site

4) if you are smart you will think " mhee i don't need to download it on the source site ( adobe.com) i will download it via ixc.com" well they a smater cause no matter where , when or how the program will cease to work and thus cease to exist

Actually, when we show the Jessica Boobjob photo to Dr Yue, the following dialogue will pop up: "Looks like Duncan's Legs. I Noticed him staring at Lady Jessica"

Now, although others seem to refer to us and Jessica when looking at the photo and the fact that it appears soon as we actually get said boobjob in the first place, I can't help but looking at both the photo and Duncan figure and guess maybe Dr Yeu might be either playing with us or its indeed Duncan if we nitpick over the legs build.

Considering though that Duncan himself says that he needs a copy of that photo when showing it to him, proves that its just us having borrowed his camera I guess.

EDIT: Ok, pretty much got the confirmation that is indeed us taking that picture from Jessica herself when she comments on the picture after we choose Harkonnen Ending (ally with the baron) she says: "I remember when you took that photo, I still had principles back then"

So the fans shouldn't be angry with him? I was a 5$ Patreon for over a year, when he first started. The game hit a dead end and everything went with a snail's pace. He danced and teased around the Jessica content and gave a few scenes, but yeeeah *sigh*. They were effectively rape scenes. He then started focusing on Vegas Hunters. I gave him a bit of a chance with that game. The game was shit and I cancelled my support. Why shouldn't those that supported him or still support him be pissed about... being pissed on? It's not rain. He teased the content for so long and never really delivered. He teased, so that he would get support, and then he gives people wanting this content the middle finger.

Good for you that you enjoy the game, but understand not everyone else likes the direction it's taking and all the deceit there's behind these moves.

There's absolutely no new content, so why would you? People have already asked this dozens of times before. Yet everytime someone asks the same questions without doing a simple search first, they clutter the search feed with those keywords.
