Does anyone know just how many pcs DPC has setup to work on this game?
I’m trying to get a mental image of our beloved mad scientist’s lair of depravity. Surely the room has to have some pink element in it? Commemorative posters of his games hung on the walls?

If there is that much work left, we get update next year. There has been almost 1,5 year from last update, so do we get this one 2023 halloween? Is there gonna be interlude part 2 before that?
This week I've been working methodically, producing art for shorter to medium-long scenes and checking off my checklist as I went.
I've been working on the free-roam environmental art needed for me to test the final free-roam event too.
Soon, I'll be able to test the entire episode for the first time without any errors or blocking areas. There will be art missing during that test, but that's how it is when you develop these games.
The episode will be the biggest in the game so far. Funny how that always happens. I have reached 4103 posed renders, and I have ~30 more scenes to make art for.
Reaching 4000 renders is a big milestone for the episode, and that's worth celebrating.
It's been hard to be accurate with guessing how big this episode will be, but we're getting closer to the end of the development cycle. Tasks are becoming more defined, and the checklist is shrinking.
My mindset lately is that I've come this far, and I'll add what I want for the episode, regardless of how many more renders it takes. I'm not going to rush or leave out the content I've planned. I don't think anyone wants that.
There's more art on the schedule for next week. I don't think I will need to reach 5000 renders to complete the remaining 30 scenes, but time will tell. My current strategy is to work on static renders and leave animations for a bit later. While those remaining animations render, I will playtest and polish everything.
Plenty of animation work remains, but I'm making progress. No PC is idle, and neither am I.

I'am pretty sure everyone want him to rush things at this point. And I am pretty sure everyone has at least one girl they would love to leave out of content.
I need that update, the waiting is killing me. I have a special cum reserved for Badik updates and it's becoming golden yellow.

I highly doubt it because all I have seen in every update of BAD is keep getting better with quantity, quality, story paths, options and graphics.You forgot to add that DPC is tired, burnt out and wants to start a new project, so he tries to get rid of this abomination.

Seems like one ep per year will be the norm from now on. It's just life, sadly. But i'm curious to see if DPC will keep this "i will make everything i planned to do" mentality if this start affect his patreon income and, more importantly, his steam sales if he release season 3 after a gap of 4 years from season 2.

He got over the 4,000 mark pretty fast so that leaves me with hope that it won't take as long as it sounds. seeing the 30 more scenes makes me want to cry but I can't so i'll just do this

I'm also hoping for the end of October. But my optimism is slowly giving way to realism. I think slowly but surely so that ename144 estimate will meet.
I know, so that DPC creates a super EP. But the longer and longer update times contain a danger. Even I have now started another game and my interest in BaDIK is waning. I can well imagine that this is the same for others. DPC could destroy the hype with too long update times, 6 months +, of BaDIK.
My suggestion to DPC would be to make the future EP's smaller and make one more season for that. ALso altogether then 5 season. Thus, he also tells the whole story of BaDIK as he imagines, but keeps so his clientele better in humor.

So, until now you didn't play anything else and you were literally only waiting for the next episode, suspending all other activities?
There are two kinds of waiting:
- foreground waiting: not doing anything else but just waiting; like waiting for a bus at a bus stop.
- background waiting: going on with your life but at the back of your mind anticipating some event (like the release of a game).
I would advise you to not wait on episode nine like you do on a bus.
Get on with your life and BaDIK 9 comes when it comes.
