But MC reads it at the plot's convenience, like a page a week, which is just dumb.
Because if MC reacted like a normal person and read it in 2-3 days, all the mysteries would probably be solved.
OK, and what do you want? So that this story ends as soon as possible?! It's scary to imagine. The BaDIK Must Go On ! Even if the MC seems a little dumb.

There are quite a few things going on in the game right now, out of the player's/MC's control. Lots of mysteries.
This one is easy to solve and completely in MC's power to do so. The speed at which he reads the diary is retarded, and no one can convince me otherwise. I wouldn't mind an interlude even regarding the diary tbh, hell, make it the Season 4 Interlude at this point since MC has no intention of reading it.

It's just that anyone who didn't have his mom growing up would jump at the occasion at reading it and getting to know her.
It's one of the elements that really grinds my gears.

I get why DPC is doing it the way he is. For the plot/narrative.
Doesn't change the fact that it's retarded behavior by the MC.

Just an opinion. The Sage path in Ep8 and now Ep9 is sub-par for a character that could have been written in such depth.

1. Ep8, you only get something with her if you do the Quinn double.

2. Ep9. DPC trolls us by having MC talk about Sage's family while he is banging her. Everything but insurance and investment advice is mentioned. And the whole self-slut shaming tell me I am a whore/slut etc was just silly.

3. Ep9 early on has some sweet interactions with Sage at the start, but all you get with her at the end is prison sex; then self-slut shaming (wanting to do the walk) and announcing to anyone that will listen including MC is that she is going to line up a list of group bangs.

4. OK, if that had been some kind of DiK route option but there is no choice. This character could have been written really well with a great story line and well, that is all we get. I did like the Sage character a lot. Now. I put her at the bottom of the list of LIs with even some of the sides having a more interesting storyline.

5. Again, this is only MY opinion and it is the DPC show. So, I get it.
I think her wanting to do the walk is not slut-shaming, but being self-confident and don't giving a damn about what the DIKs and other people could think about her. And also saying to them "MC is my man now and we are going to have a lot of kinky sex together, so envy him, you losers". That thing of "tell me I'm a slut" is just dirty talking. Other characters do the same in other lewd scenes, and the same goes for the pillory scene.

She has been sexually frustrated for all the time she has been dating with a gay (even if she had sex with Chad at the beginning, I don't think it was good sex, and probably she actually didn't have any), that it's at least two years or more, and now that she has broken free of that toxic relationship, she wants to make up for the lost time since it's her last months in college and soon she will be into the "race of rats". She has found MC, the perfect guy to that, and she's decided to have as much kinky sex as possible until she graduates.

That thing of "lining up a list of group bangs" I suppose it's because she has been seeing the other HOTs banging a lot of guys for the last years and she was envious, being with an impotent (at least with her) boyfriend. So, again, she wants to make up for the lost time. Since MC is not going to be OK with her banging other guys or having "devil's 3somes" (I suppose and hope DPC is not going to go that way), she has decided to include other girls because it's a kink of her (and almost every single female character in AVNs, it's a cliché of the genre) and as she says to Maya, it's only with friends, for fun, and doesn't mean anything. Does that says something about Sage's personality? Only until certain point. This is a porn game, and I think that DPC is going to use her as an excuse to introduce more 3somes because it's something that people likes, even if it overdoes the "kinkiness'" of Sage's character.

But I don't think Sage has a fetish for self-slut shaming or she's a sub. The firs time she has sex with MC she tells him that sometimes she wants to be dominated and others, to dominate. Again, it's an excuse to introduce more variety in lewd scenes and of course, DPC overdoes it because it's a porn game (Sage allowing MC fuck her skull the first time they have oral sex is way too much), but what says about Sages' character is that after being so sexually frustrated for so long, she has liberated herself and is going to explore her fantasies with MC.

This time the update is just a crazy party, and we see mostly the kinky side of Sage. I hope next update we'll see her first date with MC and we'll see her romantic side too.

Anyway, I agree that I was expecting more from that character in this update (and the previous one), that I miss more sweet interactions, and that some of the scenes (over all, the one of MC talking about Sage's family when he's banging her) are silly.

I think a big diary revelation will hit at the end of Season 3. Then DPC is going to do a second interlude where you decide Neil or Lynette's personality and how it'll play out in interactions with the blue bloods for Season 4.

For sure. And I wouldn't mind such an interlude tbh.

And I don't want anyone too understand me the wrong way.
I understand why it's done the way it is, for the sake of plot and narrative.
It's just too unrealistic and personally bothers me. It's literally him having answers in his hands, but MC is like: Nah, mom's dead, my cock ain't, gotta go on the prowl :BootyTime:
But the "for the sake of plot" choices do make the MC simply act like fool and retarded more often then he should.
Not the MC's fault, it's DPC's and the narrative's.

Well, maybe you're right. Anyway, I also want this secret to be revealed, and MC learned the inheritance from his grandfather. Got the money. A lot of money. And spent it on Saint Quinn. The best ending.
We shall see. It's probably gonna get dragged out as much as possible because if MC inherits grandad's money, Maya's troubles go away too, and we can't have that now can we, we need more drama and tears. Like MC's cum being the glue that holds MJ together ain't enough drama for the foreseeable future :HideThePain:

She's complained that she can't afford a lawyer, so that option has never been on the table, but now that Jill has offered her services, as long as Maya is prepared to spell it all out to the lawyer, it should finally be resolved (they just have to threated to take the dad to court and it will be over in seconds)
It won't be fixed that easily.

Firstly because it would be disappointing, a resolution like this would be too simple. Kind of like a final battle against the end boss that was dispatched in two shots.

Then, because the father seems quite extremist, not one to give up. He would be ready to go to trial rather than release his daughter.

On the other hand, yes the next step is to go see the lawyer. There either he will say that it is legal, or he that it is not (if it is not, the time to sue the father, Maya will be without money to pay for college).

Back to square one. There comes the banana to save Maya!

In episode 8, we see Jill who wants to do something in memory of her sister. Jill received money when she died. She will use these funds to create a scholarship or a foundation whose goal will be to help young people who are at odds with their families (like her sister). And who better than Maya to benefit from that?

End of the story.

Lynette's story would be a good excuse to do some short interludes between seasons (shorter that Zoey's one). We would know Lynette's story little by little, without that cheap and unrealistic trick of the diary. Anyway, it's obvious that what we see in the flashbacks is way more than MC's reads on the diary. And MC should know about his mom's story because of interactions with people that was related with her, not to have the answers in a diary but, for some reason, he decides not to read it yet.

In my opinion, it's a missed opportunity not to have MC reading it once per episode. Localized info dumps.
Like this, MC's comes of like someone who doesn't care. At this point, we are probably have something big revealed regarding Bella, Jill and MC's past at the end of Season 3, and start of Season 4 with some interlude. Not that I mind it, but could've been avoided by MC reading the diary a bit more often. Because basically almost every night MC goes to bed, it's more important to bring someone in for a lewd scene than it is to read the diary. Like this we end Season 3 on inflated drama, so to speak.

On canon run in Acting Lessons my MC ended up with Melissa. Set my man Liam up with Rena.

Though AL still gives me nightmares.

In my route that shy girl died (I forgot her name) and Melissa hated me.
Obvious, a run without Sage and Nicole is just lacking

Yes but only if you reject all other main LI's, otherwise Jill is not a choice and she won't reject the MC, you just lose her path without any notification.
I see, I have to maintain complete celibacy while playing and in doing so break Jill's route. This is the most boring run, ignore all the girls.

Because her whole story is a cliché already seen in a thousand of movies, TV shows and even videogames. The gay oppressed by "heteropatriarchy" and conservative people. And that kind of story have a sense and a value in the 50´s when gay people was really oppressed and ridiculed, but not now. In the 2020's and IRL in western countries, is even the opposite. I'm tired of that kind of stories in media, the way Josy and her interact is corny and cheesy as hell, and she doesn't face her problems, just whines and wait that somebody (MC, Sage, Jill) solves for her. So I can't relate with Maya's problems or feel sympathy for her character just because she's gay (or bi, it doesn't matter, her problems are because she's gay), because she's a bad character with a bad story. Right now, it's the opposite. DPC has made her father such an evil character, such a perfect villain, that I'm in Maya's father's team
The fact is that the events take place in a fictional universe. This is a modern world, only the culture is different from ours and resembles the 90s - early 00s. Homosexuals still hide their relationships to avoid being bullied, there is no cancel culture, radical feminists are a bunch of freaks who have no influence in society. Imagine what would happen to Derek if he went to college in the real world and freely expressed his views and disrupted gender studies classes. He would have just been expelled from college.
Megan was her name and good ass bbq was the game.

Also, Melissa hates the MC there when you cheat on them/her with the 2 bimbos at the beach if I recall.
Yes, i cheated and banging every possible girl :ROFLMAO:

Well, agree to disagree on that one. Regarding the term "modern world".
Cancel culture, LGBTQABCDEFG+-, SJW and so on are a western related issue, some would even say plague.
Where I'm from, we don't need BLM, gay people don't hide and so on. We have basic human decency, so we don't need capitalistic movements to cash in for every little thing that should be a basic human right xD

Where I'm from, sure Derek would be in trouble for being shirtless, but vibes wise, we are still in the 90's. And I'm totally fine with that.

Guys, whatever happens don’t drink the Kool aid !
