He makes enough money as it is, in fact, he seems to be swimming in it at the moment and looks like he will be making more if people buy his walkthrough that's on top of the money he is making from his patreon and steam sales, how much more does he need? surely that's enough as it is.

thats what i was thinking too, after that steam release and quitting his job he got a bit drunk on money, when i read his patreon post when he said "time to turn this into business" i was a bit weirded out, now i know what he thinks of his patreon gig.

I think this will always be the case between updates even if you had the worlds best computer, but I think we will get a better idea of how fast he will get through an update when season 2 launches.

Yeah what Mormont said,I remember DPC saying,on multiple ocassions that the new PC won`t make the releases come out faster,just even better quality and more/longer animations.

As for the merch thing,why not?If he has whales willing to pay for it,than go for it.He would have to hire people though,you need to design,take care of the shipment...all the jazz needed for dealing with physical goods.
At some point maybe but I wouldn`t expect it anytime soon.
Besides you can get prints on virtually anything,photo-paintings,posters,t-shirts,cushins,mugs.... and fairly cheap

super cheap, real easy way to make money if you have medium to large fanbase usually.

Trying to make more money of it is understandable the very least. The issue is, as always, whats the point where the desire to earn more starts working against this same goal. I don't think he is there yet. Merch is fine. Its an experiment. If it will get in the way of developing the product thats the main source of his income he'll drop it. But if it doesn't, why not. As it was said before, making those merch costs money itself, requires some work. But its managable. But i'm on the side that says trying to sell merch assosicated with porn is not exactly the best idea. For example i really don't wan a mug with Bella's titties on it despite my adoration toward those you see. RL reasons. Just having a decently dressed Bella? Why bother.

Twelve updates is the same as three seasons of four episodes, but splitting it makes the downloads shorter, faster and you don't have to upload/download the same thing over and over. It's convenient, and I don't see how it can be worse for the customers.

He can offer merch like Quinn's "Cute but crazy" T-shirt (if it's original, I don't know what is original and what comes from assets), things like that that don't say they come from porn unless you happen to know it.
