I wouldn't like that Bella and Jill had any kind of affair. Having two other LIs in a lesbian relationship (however short) would cheapen the plot imo. Depends on how exactly happen, but considering how "slow" this girls are, specially Jill, a one time thing like that seems out of character for both. This is why I had such a big problem with the implied revelation Bella got with Jill. I was prepared to die on the particular hill that the whole monologue about "doesn't hook up with friends" in the library was about the MC but I have to concede with Ep5 its looking like she has cheated before and it kinda destroys the character for me. I hope we're all wrong because she's gone from a close second to Jill in my books to barely above Maya/Josy (and we all know my issues with them).
If Bella was trying to be faithful, was trying to be loyal to her husband and hated herself for falling for the MC I could see it working. It would be an interesting story. Watching someone make logical choices based on morality but succumbing anyways is interesting. Stuff like when she pushes him on Jill because it's the right thing to do, despite her feelings of jealousy is relatively unique behaviour in this game where everyone's "following their heart" and fucking like rabbits.
Make her faithful before meeting the MC and it would be a story about someone conflicted about their morality and how that morality holds up as lust for someone turns into love for them. She wants (and tries) to do the right thing but gives in and kinda hates herself for it. Someone with a bit of grown up, measured, morality is a nice foil to the clusterfuck of teenage drama in other routes. Unfortunately that loses a lot of it's weight when it's seemingly the second damn time she's cheated on her husband with a teenager she met at work and became friends with.
