Yeah, I like Sage for her personality and her red hair (glad to hear I didn't screw it up). The fact she was sidelined in this update worries me that we shall have less time with her as she continues to focus on her dissertation.

Loved the time with the cougars, wish the MC could have helped cheer Jade and Cathy up...I hope we get more time with Cathy.

Derek being in a mood about a girl is weird and not what I expect from him. He seemed like such a carefree guy.

And I agree... I really don't see Sage catching a case of feels for the MC and staying. I expect that the reason they have a fuck buddy relationship is because she knows she doesn't want to start a new relationship with anyone in her final year of college. Also feel like she would take Chad back if he came to her, apologized, and admitted his mistakes. You don't have a relationship that long without some feelings...

If that holds true and the MC can't be with any of the side girls/Milfs then I suppose my MC will be finishing the game solo but very experienced.
There was a spark though, that moment if you're on the Sage path and

It might take a few episodes but she wouldn't be one of the main girls if a end game romance wasn't on the table with her eventually.

Sage has always been my #1 pick for an endgame, with Josy & Maya close behind. But I was surprised by how much Quinn grew on me this episode (on my DIK route, that is). Very curious to see how she evolves over the next god knows how many episodes actually end up happening.

Eh, I don't believe that being a main girl guarantees anything... Sure DPC's not going to go all AL on us but that doesn't mean that the MC will have a happy ending with each girl. He may just have Sage as the college romance/fuck buddy/experiment that he later looks back on with fondness. At least I've not read anything where DPC states that each of the main LI will have a happy ending with a long term relationship.

And Sage could just be emotional because that was an emotional subject plus she is sick and her walls are down. Doesn't mean that she now wants to be the MC's girlfriend.

What does everyone think the time span of this game will end up being? Whether it’s twelve episodes or twenty or whatever, by the end of the story, how much time will have passed? DPC has made a few allusions to second semester classes, so I feel like we’ll need a time skip at some point at the rate we’re going. Feels like a missed opportunity to skip out on a spring break trip, too.

Like I said, it might take a few more episodes but it's there and I'm optimistic. Hope that in the next episode we at least get some sexy time with her, to make up for this one.

DPC has stated before at least 12 episodes but it could go beyond that. I'm all for going beyond 12 episodes as long as the quality doesn't degrade.

Your optimism is refreshing... I am not going to hold my breath because I don't trust DPC to not fuck us over eventually.

I can't imagine her not being a romance option towards the end, but I do feel like DPC is gonna throw us a curveball with her and a lot of people will cry. I like Sage a lot (after all her and Riona make up my S-Tier) but if the curveball happens I'm happy to go for a new playthrough dedicated to her. She's worth it.

The curveball being:
Pretty sure the other main LIs will stick to their path, so Isabella will be CHICK-Neutral, and Maya, Josy and Jill will be mostly CHICK and the one and only DIK-Path main LI I think will eventually also drop out of DIK and into prefering you when you're more CHICK/Neutral.
DPC just gave her an excuse for having been into DIKs since she hated the idea of emotionally opening up cause her family never did that in the past. Guess this is also why her and Chad were together despite Chad seemingly not being interested in her anymore and Sage also just wanting to know who Chad is sleeping with and not actually fighting to keep him, cause she probably also doesn't care about him. You're basically just making her realize she doesn't need to put up a front and care about appearances and she can just discuss feelings, clear the air and be done with it.

So you'll basically be stuck in a situation where if you started as CHICK/Neutral you never really get close to Sage and you're fucked. If you started DIK and then kept going full DIK, then she initially likes you but since you eventually get stuck in "permanent DIK" mode she will probably develop into a person that realizes she doesn't actually like some of the shit a Massive DIK MC will pull. So your road to glory will be something like starting out as DIK and then steering more and more towards CHICK so you eventually end on Neutral where the Sage Path will succeed.

Kinda sucks that this would mean 0 of the 5 main LIs will be for the DIK MC in the end, but then again the DIK path makes up with it with sheer volume, sleeping with pretty much all HOTs and the Strippers.

Understandable, not everyone walked away from AL without scars haha.
Yeah, I played AL with NO knowledge of what was going to happen, it was like the second porn game I played. Had no idea what to expect after playing Daughter for Dessert. AL was very dark and the ending was traumatizing... I don't believe that DPC is going to have every single LI in this game have a good/happy ending with the MC. The game is slowly getting darker with each update.

Indeed and I've stated it in a previous comment that I didn't really like that how some of the drama seemed forced just to make things escalate faster. Maintaining the balance of levity is important and hopefully he follows the formula of season 1, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I'm starting to think that we actually won't get to nail Heather.

DPC will build to it and build to it, but when you finally get a "Make a pass at her" option, Heather will respond "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU???!!!??? You actuallyt think I would go to bed with you after you act like such a goddamned creep towards me, you sick pervert!"

[Heather proceeds to kick MC in the nuts.]

The curveball being:

I've been thinking this myself for a while now. I have a Jill only route where I've asked myself at every decision "what would Jill think?" It had me helping Sage at every opportunity but never taking advantage of her situation. I didn't think anything of it at first, but Sage seemed to be done with me after I rejected her advanced several times.

Once I got to the party in episode 5 though Sages dialogue with the NPC was very interesting. It seemed that she actually respected my character for not doing anything. Then right around the corner Chad breaks up with her and she gets a cold and calls the MC? Then finding out she's not actually just a party girl, she takes her studies seriously? I have a sneaking suspicion this might be the non scumbag way to approach a relationship with her.
