Don't know if this has been asked here, curious to see what characters (besides Quinn cause that seems to be the most common) have you disliked from the beginning but as the story progressed you felt differently about them or in the next coming episodes what character changes would you like to see happen that will sway your original opinion?

We know from Josy that Maya used to be more adventurous.
Maya explicitly states in EP3 that she deletes the video of MC and her and does not publish it. Maya is not an exhibitionist either.

There is a Peeping Tom who likes to take pictures and videos.
The theory, based on what we know.
What if pictures and/or videos of Josy and Maya in action were posted?
These pictures and/or videos do not have to be taken by Josy and Maya.
The father is very religious and some such religious fanatics also have their dark secrets. What if the father is not only satisfied with secret magazines, but is also on the Internet?
He is already not happy about his daughter being a lesbian and maybe that's how he found out about Josy and Maya and that's why he wants Maya to stay away from Josy.
If that's the case, only Derek or Tommy could be a peeping tom. But Derek wouldn't intentionally publish anything that would hurt his sister. Therefore, one could assume that the publication was some kind of accident. After all, he also sent questionable pictures of himself to the MC. Maya has been to Josy's house a few times. That could nominate Tommy for the Peeping Tom. And Tommy wouldn't be shy about posting pictures and/ or videos. It would also be a good reason for Josy to hate Tommy.
If Josy and Zoey really did know each other and this has all happened before, we could assume that Tommy is our little Peeping Tom. MC could also find out about a possible former relationship between Josy and Zoey when Maya's father mentions that these are not the only pictures and/or videos of Josy. It would also be a good reason for Josy to hate Tommy.
The revelation could also lead MC to a place he may need to find to solve his puzzle. During the flashback of Zoey, the MC says during the sex scene that he didn't even know who owned the tree house. If he now sees a picture and/or video of Josy and Zoey in the tree house, it could put the MC on the trail.
The theory is coherent on its own, but might/might not be true for BaDIK.

Personally, Maya, in my first run, I had hated all about this plot, but, in successive runs I began to grow fond of the character, until she became one of my favorites, even though most people hate her.

Hmm. Maya/Josy, aside from rewriting the beginning to allow the choice to avoid instead of getting pigeonholed into "getting interested" in one, then the other, then both or neither. Like allow for the ability to turn them down to and just be friends to begin with.... nothing.

The real speculation is the first one, Zoey/Josy, the rest of the theory is based in this point, and then, a chain of coincidence to the result.The only coincidences I see are that Josy and Zoey knew each other. The only real speculation is that Derek or Tommy could be the peeping Toms. But at least there are two subtle hints for Tommy. He was excited about shooting the dildo game and he almost became ecstatic until it was Josy's turn. The second time he literally begged MC to look behind the curtain and gaze at Heather. I also seem to remember a couple doing it on the bed when he got a drug shot from Quinn.

The Tommy or Derek part in the theory is so, but so surreal that I decidedly did not give it any importance. But, even i dont agree with all the construction, its a funny theory. If you remove Zoey, Derek and Tommy, you have a decent theory, change internet with caught the girls in the act, and poof!, you have a angry dad (or horny, never trust in fanatics!). Or little more simply, Maya and Josy take photos/videos themselfs and daddy tooks this from Maya´s phone.Didn't you read my answer properly?

But what I find really funny is that you don't go into the real speculation?
That Tommy or Derek are the peeping toms.
When you complicated all adding a lot of necessary characters and actions, then the theory fall by its own weight.

Because Isabella wants to know about MC and girls, not about his father, mother or something else. Her interest is in knowing how he would treat Jill, how he is with women, or at least that's how I saw it in the conversation they had at lunch.But why was there a flashback from Zoey. I know that it is constructed by DPC so that MC Isabella can tell a story about his past. But he could have done the story without Zoey and only with the father.
The very presence of Zoey in the story makes Zoey significant. But only as MC's ex-girlfriend. Please, that is far too weak for DPC, even if Zoey eventually meets the MC.
It lacks the drama, the heartbreak and the feeling of being caught. It's as emotional as if I'm eating a cheese sandwich.
In other hand, Zoey doesn´t need conection with others character to create more drama, just the fact that Zoey exists is all the drama the MC needs.

That could already be the case.
But DPC writes his stories in such a way that he often reveals in advance what will happen later. We just can't always interpret it correctly because we can't see into the future. (Please do not start with time travel)
Example:
When Derek sent the MC a photo of Cathy butt, Cathy thinks about it.
"(l...l'm not sure if I should feel offended or flattered.)"
"(Probably a bit bf both.)"
"(Although it's funny how men see me as attractive in real life...)"
this foreshadows the later part with Cathy's chunk and the conversation with MC.
These "coincidences" can be found throughout the game. To make it clearer, here is another example:
Maya and MC in the meadow!
MC: "It's times like these I wish I was rich."
Maya: "You're jealous of what they're doing?
Maya: "I can buy you a lemon, if you want one."
MC: "Haha, no! I just meant in general."
Maya: "What would you do if you were?"
MC: "I'd help you out with the tuition."
No one knew about MC's heritage then. But it's a hidden preview. And I don't think it even refers to the $5,000. I would imagine that the MC's inheritance is much bigger than $5,000. I just remember the lawyer's letter. What if it says clause by clause that if the MC spends the $5000, he loses his right to the entire inheritance?
I could show you several more such analogies. That is why when I find such passages, I try to fathom them and draw certain conclusions from them.
Yes, sometimes they are a bit wild and impetuous. But it's fun, because there might always be a grain of truth behind it.

Zoey is a literary foil for the mc. Her existence means he's not a virgin going in to college. It allows his character to have experimented with drinking and smoking at an early age, and it allowed him to have suffered some relationship complications. Her entire purpose for existing was for her story with the mc to help showcase the mc's character to Bella. It's a very typical technique in writing.But why was there a flashback from Zoey. But I doubt Zoey's friend who supplied the booze was Josy. The MC was very close with Zoey, and yet, what, he never met her friend, the one that supplied them with alcohol often? Josy isn't some pusher, if she was giving alcohol to Zoey the MC would have surely met her from time-to-time.
And Tommy, you think he'd help his sister out buy giving her alcohol to give to her friends? Tommy is nothing but unpleasant to Josy, he wouldn't lift a finger to help her out.
It doesn't make sense with what we know.
I do agree with this. On replaying the game there are lots of little moments when shit just clicks. One day I'm gonna list them all. Probably not...

Yes, i agree, there are many examples for that, but, no one take a lot of time to became truth. You find the hints in to the game, like Cathy, You don't have to imagine that in her youth she used a dating app to know that the photo triggers a need that is resolved in the next episode.
But, sometimes, with some issues, yes, you need some explanations behind or in the shadows.

I'm doing a Neutral path right now in terms of Affinity (Status usually stays around CHICK), and there's not much that's been missed on that route, just Quinn, Jade, Cathy, and Mel & Sarah.
Well, just because he assumes it's blackmail because of the nature of it doesn't mean it is. In order for it to be blackmail, he'd have to made to do something to ensure the pics don't get out but it doesn't appear that this is the case.When chad attacks the MC, his words to him are:

The "sudden" break up with Sage seems like a blackmail to me. MC being close to her might have suggested that it was him that was doing it in Chad's mind. We know this is not correct and someone is manipulating things from behind the scenes for some reason. Could be to break Sage and get her out of the president position in the HOTs, so someone else could take her place and advance some plan.

Yeah, Neutral path seens to be there just in case you want to change scenes, but i dare to say that neutral path will screw with people in the end where you will need Massive CHICK or Massive DIK status because it will be universaly impossible to reach them.

Yeah, it's implied blackmail but not actual blackmail. Someone has sent him something, likely pictures he doesn't want getting out, and so his assumption is that the person who sent them will ask something of him, but at least for now that hasn't happened. However, I don't think they intended for him to do something stupid by sending him this. For whatever reason, Chad jumped to the (wrongful) conclusion that the new guy on campus who has only been there for just over a week had done this and him going after someone like that is not really something anyone could have predicted.
